A 19-year-old member of a Moscow group of young naturalists met "a little white fluffy little man" in the Taganai mountains. After this meeting, the young man went mad

Probably, many have heard stories about gnomes who live in the Ural Mountains. In addition, there is a lot of evidence from local residents that undersized creatures live in the Taganay mountains. All these stories have a fairly confident mythological basis: the legends about the mysterious Chud people are known in ancient Slavic and Finno-Ugric mythology. According to legends, chuds, or chuds, live in caves, extract valuable ores and gems, know how to conjure and predict the future. In the Ural tales and legends, there is an opinion that people who hunt for treasures of little mountain men pay with the loss of their minds.

For the past 15 years, Taganay has been ranked as one of the most active anomalous zones in Russia. Being a person far from parapsychological convictions, but at the same time experiencing a natural attraction for all people to everything mysterious, I became interested in an incident that took place in 2004 in Taganay. The credibility of the story, which will be described below, was reinforced by the fact that it was told by a person who was not keen on "paranormal things" - Marina Sereda, senior researcher at the Taganay Reserve.

From 6 to 26 July 2004, a group of volunteers from the Moscow Station of Young Naturalists carried out scientific research in the Taganai nature reserve. For several days the group was based near Mount Kruglitsa in the Taganai shelter.

It was decided to make a radial exit to the top of Kruglitsa. When the group began to climb, the 19-year-old member of the expedition decided to go not together with the whole group, but in parallel. The fact is that the main contingent of the team of Moscow youths is schoolchildren at the age of 13-15, therefore, it is logical to assume that the 19-year-old guy felt uncomfortable in a group of young guys and preferred not to communicate with them. No one was particularly surprised at his disappearance. The group climbed to Kruglitsa - there he was not. Only after the guys went downstairs, the young man returned to the camp. Nobody even attached importance to this absence.

The next day, the group finished their scientific work and decided to relocate to the Kialim cordon, which is located 8 kilometers from the base camp. When the new camp was set up, the girls noticed that the guy put up his tent in the distance, packed up his backpack and went off somewhere.

After 3 hours, the 19-year-old young man was missed. Just at that time Marina Sereda was descending from Dalny Taganai. She had to continue her scientific work together with the Muscovites.

- They asked me if I had seen a guy who disappeared from the camp somewhere. I replied that I had not met anyone along the way, recalls Marina Sereda.

An internal search began immediately. To find the lost person, the group moved 3 kilometers away from the tents. At this time, the young girls remembered that the missing person had somehow mentioned that he didn’t like it here, and that he was going to go home to Moscow.

- We decided that he went in the direction of Chrysostom. It was decided to intercept him at the Taganai shelter. But when we came to the shelter, we were told that he did not appear there, - says Marina.

A couple of hours later, a 19-year-old guy was noticed 6 kilometers from the Kialim cordon, on the completely opposite side from Zlatoust. They found him in a completely insane state: he was sitting on the side of the road, he was shaking, he had a temperature, and his backpack was generally lying somewhere in the bushes. Literally in his arms they brought him to the camp. The group consisted of four experienced doctors who went through several extreme routes, were in Altai, in the Caucasus, but, according to them, they had never met such a pathology.

After the patient was given a dose of a sedative, he felt a little better. When he stopped shaking, he told what had happened to him.

When we climbed Kruglitsa, I separated from the group. Before reaching the top, I found myself in an open place, on the rocks. Suddenly a little white fluffy man came up to me, and I fell into some kind of prostration: I could neither move nor speak, I could only watch his actions. It so happened that he lifted me up into the air. What happened next, I don't remember. When he lowered me, I came to my senses, horror seized me, and I fled headlong from this damned Kruglitsa.

When asked why he did not immediately tell about what had happened, he replied: "I was afraid that you would not believe me and would laugh at me."

When the drug weakened, the 19-year-old group member began to rave again. This went on all night. In the morning, the head of the Moscow group sent the guy to the Zlatoust psychiatric dispensary for examination. After the young man told the head physician of the psychiatric hospital Yuri Anokhin about the incident, he gave him a special test. According to Marina Sereda, the head physician called this case "typical." During Anokhin's practice, this is the 40th person with similar symptoms, the doctor also called the test results "typical".

The story ended there. After the incident, the Muscovites turned off the camp, although the expedition was to continue for another 4 days. According to Marina Sereda, the leader of the expedition was frightened by this story and even assumed that he was dealing with some kind of incomprehensible epidemic. The group was moved to the Taganayskoye forestry, where it remained for four days. Then, together with the 19-year-old victim, everyone left for Moscow. Marina does not know what happened next.

What the head physician of the psychiatric hospital meant by the words "typical case" and "typical test results" remained unclear. Perhaps, in the Taganay mountains, it is not the first time that tourists meet “little white fluffy men” and fall into a “durka”. It is also possible that over the years of his practice Anokhin has heard a lot, and you will not surprise him with such stories.

My attempts to talk to Yuri Anokhin ended in failure. The doctor flatly refused to comment on the story 4 years ago. He stated that more than three thousand people pass through it every year, and finally added that he can only disclose information about the patients of the psychiatric hospital to the investigation and prosecutor's office, and even then at an official request.

It remained unknown who the 19-year-old Muscovite saw on Kruglitsa. If this is a dwarf or a representative of the mythical Chud people, then why is it "white" and "fluffy" Maybe he had a white fluffy beard? Maybe the mental disorders were caused by the influence of the geopathogenic zone? Is this an isolated case in Taganay, or do similar cases occur regularly? There are more questions than answers. Who should ask them, so as not to be placed in a psychiatric hospital?
