Experts, during a speech at AAAS (American Association for Scientific Progress) in Washington, pointed out the high probability of a revolution that could surpass the industrial era in scope.
Professor Moshe Vardi of Rice University in Houston, Texas, conducted his own research, on the basis of which he suggested that in just a third of a century, machines could start doing work for more than half of the people on the planet. We are talking about the areas of maintenance and work with computers.
Moshe Vardi pointed to the serious advancement of manufacturers in the direction of creating unmanned vehicles like Google Car, reconnaissance and surveillance drones used by the United States, Israel and other countries, as well as systems involved in financial and trade operations. In turn, other experts compare the scientist with the Luddites of the 19th century, who in the industrial era protested against the replacement of manual labor with mechanized ones and destroyed the products of technological progress.
