Such an interesting name is the complex of Martian canyons located between the Mariner Valley and the province of Farsis, where the largest Martian volcanoes are located.
The Labyrinth of Night was born due to tectonic processes taking place on Mars, which led to the stretching and cracking of the surface. The total length of the Labyrinth canyons is about 1200 kilometers. They reach a depth of several kilometers; traces of volcanic dust and lava flows can be found on their walls and bottom. At the same time, there are hydrated minerals at the bottom of some depressions, which suggests that there may have been water here at one time.
