One of the travel agencies in Yekaterinburg offers to relive the events of a mysterious and tragic night from February 1 to February 2, 1959. Those wishing to experience the mystical extreme can go on an expedition to the Dyatlov pass on snowmobiles.
In four days, tourists are offered to overcome 250 km along the route Vizhay - Ushma - Dyatlov Pass - Mount Kolla-Chakhl - Ushma - Vizhay. The tour organizers define the difficulty level as "moderate extreme". And they promise a complete lack of infrastructure: "there will be no warm toilets, showers, cellular communications, Internet access on the route."
The cost of the expedition is 59,500 rubles (subject to "two people on a snowmobile") and 64,500 rubles (subject to "one on a snowmobile"). The price does not include travel to the village of Vizhai. For their money, a group of tourists receives medical insurance, snowmobiles, scraps, fuels and lubricants, food, as well as everything necessary for a winter overnight stay in the Ural Mountains. The daredevils will be accompanied by an instructor guide.
As the agency "Katyusha Travel" told, this person "will, of course, tell some information about the death of the Dyatlov group," but his main task is to preserve the life and health of the expedition members. They, according to the manager of the travel agency, will receive the necessary advice on how to dress, going for four days in the mountains in winter. “But tourists themselves must understand that they are not going to the beach,” said an employee of Katyusha Travel.
Participants' travel to the starting point - from Ivdel to the Vizhay village - will cost a group of three people 12 thousand rubles. Before or after the trip, you can take a steam bath - 1500 rubles / hour. Historical reconstruction of the events of the fateful night during the expedition is not provided even for a separate fee.
