In Paraguay, a two-headed calf was removed from the womb of a dead cow. The calf was already dead, and its mother died after trying to give birth.

The farmer took the dead mutant to the local butchers for an examination. It is known that childbirth began in the seventh month of pregnancy, and cows carry calves for 9 months, so the cow's body apparently tried to "throw off" the crippled animal ahead of time.

People say they have never seen anything like it in the area. The calf was born on a farm in Yatalay, Itapua department in southeastern Paraguay. According to the butchers, if the calf had been born on time, it would still not have survived with such deviations.

Later, the remains of the mutant calf were sent to the San Juan Veterinary School. Experts believe that such an anomaly is due to the mother's malnutrition during pregnancy and a genetic mutation.
