Having delved into the reading of the New Testament in the original, I was surprised to find a deliberate distortion of the basic concepts. This prompted the idea of writing a series of small notes in which I plan to publish the most interesting passages in the original and how I see them reading.
I do not know Greek, let alone ancient Greek, but this should not prevent you from carefully considering the original texts of the New Testament. You can have different attitudes to the reliability of texts and events, but I was interested in the very fact of deliberate distortion. If they distort, then it is beneficial for someone? And by how and what they distort, one can indirectly judge what truth they want to conceal.
I invite you to read the original together, in small pieces. Discussions based on the original text are welcome, and possible accusations of heresy, amateurism, etc., will not be considered.

The same passage in the original in Ancient Greek:
Ἐν ἀρχῇ ἦν ὁ Λόγος, καὶ ὁ Λόγος ἦν πρὸς τὸν Θεόν, καὶ Θεὸς ἦν ὁ Λόγος.

The word Logos (Λόγος) is repeated three times, which was incorrectly translated as “word”. The word is a close and even one-root, but another word is λέξις (lexis), which has entered our vocabulary.
The modern meaning is Λόγος = cause (see translation). I have no reason to translate the Logos in any other way.
The concept of "Logos" was overgrown with an abundance of later interpretations, among which I want to highlight Carl Jung, who gave the Logos masculine properties, in contrast to the close, but still feminine Eros. Let's remember.
Theon (Θεόν) - Theos (Θεὸς)
Theon means non-personalized "God" (the oxymoron "pantheon of the gods" is heard), while Theos is the feminine form of the same word, that is - "God of the feminine gender", or simply - "Goddess" (analysis of the meaning of this word) …
My reading option:
For me, such a translation sounds bright, vivid, it has a meaning, creative and all-generating sexual energy, capable of creating an entire universe.
Closely related interbreeding
There are plenty of examples of closely related interbreeding of gods - both in Greek, and in Egyptian and other mythologies. The first supreme ruler of the universe - God Uranus - according to legend, was born without a husband by the Goddess Gaia (Earth) and became her husband. That is, we can say that Gaia and Uranus are the only begotten. From the love and sexual attraction of Uranus to Gaia, numerous offspring were born, and I have reason to assume that Theon and Theos, God and the Goddess - these are precisely what John describes in his Gospel.
I am preparing to expand on this topic in subsequent posts, but now I will conclude with verse 18 of the same first chapter of the Gospel of John:
Θεὸν οὐδεὶς ἑώρακεν πώποτε μονογενὴς Θεὸς ὁ ὢν εἰς τὸν κόλπον τοῦ Πατρὸς, ἐκεῖνος ἐξηγήσατο.
The same words: Theon (Θεὸν) and Theos (Θεὸς), called the only begotten or - literally - monogenic (μονογενὴς, monogenes). That is, Theon and Theos are different entities, God and the Goddess, genetically related and Theon's attraction to Theos.
No Theos is the Son, this is a brazen and blatant forgery of basic concepts!
