The development of climate weapons has been going on for a long time. And they are being successful. Raising suspicion of a world conspiracy.
Behind a veil of secrecy
With climatic weapons, the situation is like with Schrödinger's cat. It is and is not at the same time.
In 1978, a convention was adopted on the prohibition of the negative impact on the climate. The USSR and the USA signed the treaty. Since then, there have been no proven cases of military use of climate weapons, but accusations of the involvement of certain forces in natural disasters continue.
For example, former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad blamed Europe for prolonged droughts in Iran and Turkey. He assured that the drought in these countries, as well as in the surrounding regions, would continue for another 30 years. Ironically, when Ahmadinejad went outside, it started raining. But Mahmoud was not convinced.
Among the well-known "rumors in the form of versions", one can also recall the accusations that George W. Bush and Russia (!) Were involved in Hurricane Katrina, accusations against Obama that he caused Hurricane Sandy a week before the elections in order to secure his re-election.

Also blame geoengineers for the California drought. The conspiracy theorists see the direct intent for California to become a dependent region.
From 1962 to 1983, the Americans worked on the "storm fury" project. Its nominal goal was to pacify the hurricane by sowing silver iodide. In fact, the hurricane is a real weapon. Having "turned" him away from his territory, he can be sent to another. In 1969, the United States was accused of nearly sending a hurricane to Panama and Nicoragua.
The most famous case of the use of climate weapons is Operation Popeye, when American transport workers sprayed the same silver iodite over the strategic territories of Vietnam. From this, the amount of precipitation increased three times, the roads were washed out, fields and villages were flooded, communications were destroyed.
With the main problem of Vietnam - the jungle, the US military also coped radically. Bulldozers uprooted trees and topsoil, and herbicides and defoliants were sprayed on top of the rebel stronghold.
Today, the most attention is paid to ionofser. There is a theory voiced by the Communist Party deputy Tatyana Astrakhankina at a meeting of the Duma back in 2002. She and 90 other deputies sent a request to the government, offering their explanation of the US interest in the geophysical properties of the ionosphere. According to the MPs, America is building a "closed loop" of three systems in Norway, Alaska and Greenland.
For peace
The fact that geoengineers have not stopped their development since the 40s has not been hidden. The weapon can also be used for peaceful purposes. Acceleration and seeding of clouds are carried out constantly. Bill Gates is actively funding the development of hurricane suppression, in the United Arab Emirates they cause rain with the help of powerful ionizers, in preparation for the Chinese Olympics, the organizers have done a great job of blocking undesirable climatic conditions.
All these facts are not widely disclosed, but the fact that strategic meteorological work is being carried out confirms at least the existence of several ionospheric heating stands around the world. HIPAS operates in Alaska, Sura in Vasilsursk, EISCAT / Heating is located in the Norwegian Tros, SPEAR operates in Svalbard, and a complex at the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico.
The most famous ionospheric facility is the American HAARP. He is the most powerful of all. It is his people, who believe in conspiracy theories, who blame many climate disasters in general and Hurricane Sandy in particular.
There is no concrete evidence of such malicious activity as yet.
But there is an example of a well-intentioned influence on the climate. It was the Soviet geoengineers who prevented the ecological catastrophe after the Chernobyl accident. Radioactive dust was tied up with special compounds so that it would not be carried by the wind. In order to prevent dust from being washed into the Dnieper, an anti-rain barrier was made in the sky.
People have always dreamed of controlling the weather. For example, they fought hail with bells (which has been scientifically proven to work), made sacrifices (the effect has not been scientifically proven). Serious developments in this area are still less than a century old, so geoengineering is only at the very beginning of its journey.
