Summer, which does not come in any way, the rampant of the elements … What is it - just the whims of nature, global climate change or, from nowhere, a mysterious "weather" weapon that has fallen on us? The opinions of specialists differ - some call this "club" of the military a myth, others argue that such developments not only exist, but are also used from time to time in different parts of the planet.
After an abnormally cold and rainy-snowy May, summer in Russia began with the same global cold weather almost all over the country and a creeping line in regional TV news announcing that “on such and such June roads were blocked due to a blizzard”.
Most recently, a devastating hurricane passed through Moscow and the Moscow region, which claimed the lives of 16 people, about a hundred injured. The city authorities calculated the damage caused: 243 houses were damaged, more than 2 thousand cars were broken, 14 thousand trees were felled. Is it really going to become the norm now, and what Muscovites have experienced could happen again?
In recent years, the number of dangerous meteorological phenomena in Russia has approximately doubled. If this continues, then according to these indicators, our country may catch up with America, where hurricanes are a common thing.
The Phobos center, operating under the license of Roshydromet, explains the sharp cooling by a series of “diving cyclones”, which are called so because of their unusual trajectory - they seem to “dive” from top to bottom on the map, that is, from the North Atlantic to central Russia. These cyclones "drag" with them very cold rain clouds, which, although they get warm along the way, are not much warmer - therefore, the weather in the capital is more like the end of April than June. The situation is aggravated by the fact that these diving cyclones are regularly displaced by anticyclones, therefore, in the interior of the continent, the weather is similar to the seaside - the sun is replaced by rain several times a day, and icy rain clouds make their way further south and south.
The Hydrometeorological Center adds that this situation arises due to the shift of vortex flows: instead of the usual western transfer, atmospheric Rossby waves arise, which drive the Arctic rains towards us. They, in fact, put an atmospheric "curtain" and do not allow warmer air to penetrate into the middle zone of Russia.
Conspiracy theorists have increasingly begun to think of some kind of weapon by which scientists create artificial tsunamis, floods, earthquakes, showers and hurricanes. Is it really the most unpleasant part of the weather "misunderstandings" occurring on the planet - man-made phenomena, the result of the use of climate weapons?
In theory, this is probably possible. And this is not necessary - a conscious activity aimed at a specific country. After all, we still do not fully understand the mechanisms of occurrence of weather phenomena, and the result of an invasion of this area can be unpredictable.

For example, the Chinese satellite Mo Tzu, designed to test systems of quantum cryptography (protection of communications based on the principles of quantum physics), officially has nothing to do with climate control. But some researchers have suggested that the work of quantum cryptography systems affects processes in the Earth's atmosphere. This may be due to unaccounted for "side effects", or maybe a directed action.
It is known that, trying to learn how to manage hurricanes (a real disaster for several southern states), American scientists, solving such a seemingly noble goal, studied the possibility of sending a hurricane to neighboring countries.
Today, work on the violent influence on the climate is carried out in several countries around the world. We are talking about atmospheric influences on relatively small areas. The use of weather for military purposes is prohibited under international law. But there are objects that, according to some experts, are climate weapons capable of changing the weather on a global scale, affecting the processes in the ionosphere. The HAARP complex is especially famous in this respect, the construction of which began in Alaska in the early 90s of the last century. This is the site where the antennas are located, with an area of 13 hectares. In addition to scientists, the US Navy and Air Force, as well as the Advanced Research Department, are taking part in the project.
Of course, the HAARP complex is not unique. The construction of similar ones began in the 60s of the last century. They were built in the USSR, Europe, and South America. It's just that HAARP is the largest such facility, and the involvement of the military adds secrecy. Officially, it was built to study the ionosphere of our planet and the development of air defense and missile defense systems. However, numerous researchers believe that in fact the complex is designed to influence the global and local mechanisms of natural phenomena in the areas where the US adversaries are located. HAARP radiators represent a qualitatively new level of technology. Their power is hard to grasp. When they are turned on, the equilibrium of the near-earth environment is disturbed. The ionosphere is warming up. According to some reports, the Americans are already managing to obtain artificial extended plasma formations (super-lightning).
Some scientific journals claim that there are opportunities with HAARP
trigger artificial northern lights; jam radar stations for early detection of ballistic missile launches and even eliminate enemy telecommunication systems in a specific area of the planet; destroy intercontinental missiles by overheating their electronic parts; disable spacecraft and control the weather by ionizing the upper atmosphere.
As it is assumed, already at present, the specialists working at HAARP, thanks to the improvement of technologies, have the ability to influence the atmosphere, up to the initiation of natural disasters - powerful showers, earthquakes, floods and hurricanes.
It is known that in the course of experiments carried out under the direct supervision of the command of the US air and naval forces, the effects of the interaction of artificial plasma formations with the Earth's magnetosphere were obtained. And this already allows us to speak about the possibility of creating integrated systems of geophysical weapons.
Rosalie BERTELL (who died in 2012), a spokesperson for the International Institute for Public Health (Canada), said HAARP is only part of an integrated geophysical weapon system that is potentially dangerous to the environment: “Behind this are five decades of intense and increasingly destructive experimentation on the management of the upper atmosphere. HAARP is an integral part of the long history of military space programs. Its military applications, especially when combined with other technologies of a similar level, are alarming."
Some scientists, as well as military experts, believe that HAARP has been used for a long time as a weapon of geophysical (ionospheric) impact. They refer to the fact that many significant cataclysms in Europe and the world (for example, hurricanes El Niño and Isabelle, the earthquake in Turkey and Sumatra, the unexpected awakening of the Chaiten volcano that has slept for hundreds of years in Chile and the volcanic eruption in Iceland) began after 1997, when the station was launched.
It is difficult to say whether the current cataclysms are connected with an undeclared "climate war" or are nevertheless initiated by natural causes. But in general, the danger associated with "weather weapons" should be taken seriously. Back in the 70s, the former head of the American Security Council, Zbigniew Brzezinski, predicted in his book At the Turn of Two Centuries: “Technology will give leaders of great powers methods of waging secret wars, influencing the weather, they can cause prolonged droughts or hurricanes.”
