The government of the country has turned to the world's leading experts with a request to help understand the situation with man-eating sharks

World celebrities responded with undisguised pleasure to this request. Scientists themselves are eager to deal with the anomalous behavior of Egyptian sharks, which refutes all pre-existing ideas about them. The first to arrive at the resort tonight is the professor from the University of Florida, the creator of the base for shark attacks on humans, George Burgess. He will then be joined by Marie Levin of the Shark Research Institute in Princeton, behavioral ecology specialist Eric Ritter of the University of Zurich and Ralph Collier, head of the American Shark Research Committee.

The beaches in the Sharm el Sheikh area are currently closed due to several shark attacks on tourists. An elderly German woman became the last victim of a sea predator. She died after a shark bit off her hand. Prior to that, three Russians and one Ukrainian were attacked within a week.

It is already known that long-winged sharks attacked bathers. Until now, only a few documented cases of their cannibalism were known. In addition, they are deep-sea sharks - that is, they never swim close to the shore. However, now they have betrayed all their natural instincts.

So far, too extravagant versions of the anomaly are being voiced, which can hardly be called believable. In Egypt, they hope that scientists will give an answer not only to the question of why this happened, but also to the more pressing question - what to do now.

eating sharks will appear in Crimea

Due to the effects of global warming, in 10 years, blue sharks will be found in the coastal waters of Crimea.

This was stated by the marine biologist from Kerch Yevgeny Gubanov.

“The water in the Black and Marmara Seas is gradually warming, and blue sharks in pursuit of food can swim in them from the Mediterranean Sea. If warming continues at the same rate as now, in 10 years, blue sharks will be found in the coastal waters of Crimea,”he said.

“So many sharks could have appeared near the coast because their breeding or offspring period has begun. The Red Sea is considered the largest shark nursery in the world, about 250 species of predators live here,”Gubanov added.

Recall that now in Sharm el-Sheikh, where a number of attacks by predators on people have been recorded, all beaches are closed. According to the biologist, only a few such cases have been recorded over the past 100 years.

According to one version, the appearance of sharks near the beaches of Sharm el-Sheikh was provoked by the rams transported by ship. Many animals died in close quarters, the corpses were thrown into the sea and sharks fed on them, sailing behind the ship.

The search for long-winged sharks that attacked tourists continues. Previously, two fish were caught, one of them, according to experts, attacked a person. To find out the reasons for shark attacks on tourists in the Red Sea, an international group of experts on these predators has been created.
