Every year, a huge number of people disappear on the planet without a trace, and many such cases occur under rather mysterious circumstances. Often people simply dissolve into thin air in front of astonished eyewitnesses. Just as often in such cases, fog appears, which differs from the usual one in its properties. What happens in the future with the missing is unknown. However, some of them later come back and tell amazing things.
Dips and folds of space
In 1993, an amazing incident occurred in the vicinity of the Ostankino TV tower. Two employees of one of the firms, Kameev and Ivashenko, were waiting for the third - Karatyan, who was walking towards them across the square. At one point, the air, according to Kameev, began to vibrate and hum, and a reddish glow appeared over the tower. After that, the image of the tower suddenly began to flicker, and at that moment Karatyan suddenly disappeared along with the puddle through which he was crossing at that moment. Two other eyewitnesses could not budge and do not know how long they stood like that, but then everything suddenly stopped, and Karatyan appeared in the same place. According to him, he did not feel anything and did not even notice his disappearance.
Researchers of anomalous phenomena carried out dowsing measurements in this place and found a powerful geopathogenic zone there. They explained the disappearance of Karatyan by the fact that he fell into a kind of spatial fold, by a happy accident he returned back.
No less surprising is the case of the artisan Alberto Gordoni in Italy in the 18th century. One fine day, he walked through his possessions, accompanied by his wife and friends. Suddenly, Gordoni simply disappeared into thin air in front of the accompanying eyes. Searches and even the earth dug up in this place did not give any results. The most amazing thing is that it appeared in the same place, but after a whole 22 years had passed. To all the questions, he answered that he had got into a strange tunnel and saw there amazing creatures who told him no less amazing things about the structure of the world, the meaning of which Gordoni almost did not understand. Then he returned to his world, where few people believed him. When a certain doctor Mario became interested in his story and asked to show everything on the spot, Gordoni again disappeared in the same place, but never appeared again.
Researchers explain such cases by the fact that space can be gathered in folds, and, as it were, "wrinkle". Falling into such a fold, a person disappears from this world and can stay there forever. According to the scientist Ambrose Bierce, there is nothing in such folds, you cannot live there, or die, you can only exist. Those stuck in such spatial pockets can remain there forever, if, by a lucky chance, they are not thrown back.
There are other cases when a person suddenly disappeared in one place and reappeared in another. This phenomenon is called spontaneous teleportation and also raises many questions.

Involuntary time travelers
In 1952, on Broadway, a strange man, wearing old-fashioned clothes, was hit and killed by a car. The driver of the car, who accidentally knocked him down, claimed that the man appeared in front of the transport as if from nowhere. With the deceased, they also found an identity card issued about a century ago, which greatly surprised the police. On the business card, also found in the pocket, there was an address, the street in which had not existed for a long time. The police found all people with the same name and questioned them. As a result, an elderly woman was found who reported that her father disappeared without a trace 70 years ago, having gone for a walk on Broadway. She also showed an old photograph, which depicted a person very similar to the deceased.
Some artifacts found by archaeologists are no less a mystery. For example, in the skull of a bison that lived in ancient times, a neat round hole was found. Experts confirmed that only powerful firearms can leave such marks. A number of researchers put forward a version that aliens from the future could also hunt the bison.
After a visit to the past, some eyewitnesses manage to go back, but they cannot explain how this happened, and often do not find understanding among others.
Some scientists believe that time is a complex structure, similar in shape to a spiral. As a result, the future, present and past are, as it were, on adjacent layers of the spiral. Under certain conditions, a breakdown occurs between the layers, and then a person from the present can fall into the future, or the past. This can explain many mysterious cases, but it is still not clear what causes such breakdowns.
The nature of time is still unexplored and is a great mystery. If it is solved, it is quite possible that the mystery of the strange disappearances of people will be revealed.
