A couple from Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, filmed the flight of a luminous object in the night sky. The recording was made on the evening of October 20, 2014. According to eyewitness John Edwards, he and his girlfriend were greatly frightened as the object was flying so close that it seemed as if it was following them.
“I think he was watching us at that moment. It was creepy. I was hiding behind a curtain,”Edwards tells CBC News.
In the recording, we see that in the end the object just disappears. At the same time, the eyewitness says that in fact he hid behind the houses. But this did not stop John: he and his girlfriend got into the car and went in search of the UFO, but they never managed to find it.
Channel CBC News, trying to find out what kind of object it could be, contacted the police and the airport in St. John, while reporters were never given answers.
CBC News believes John Edwards captured a drone in flight. It is possible that this is an ordinary quadcopter. The popularity of such aircraft is growing as they become more affordable.
By the way, it so happened that the day after this incident, Transport Canada presented new guidelines for the use of drones. Thus, certain restrictions were established on the movement of drones in airspace.
