According to M. Sewell, the incident took place in Hertfordshire in the south-east of England on the eve of August 3. Early in the morning, around 4:00 local time, the man was driving his car along a road in the countryside. He was in a hurry to London Stansted Airport, from where he was supposed to fly to Sweden.
At this moment, the journalist noticed a UFO. In the sky above him, a bright light flashed, which came from some strange object in the form of a disk. Then this disk began to descend, hovered over the road and flew to the left. The man describes a strange flying machine, not like an airplane or a helicopter, like a disc dotted with several light sources.
M. Sewell said that the UFO described a circle over the field, and then the Briton lost sight of him. He managed to observe the "alien ship" for two or three minutes, after which the journalist called his radio station, where he told millions of listeners live about his meeting with aliens.
According to the journalist, besides him, the UFO was also supposed to be seen by the driver of the truck that was driving in front of him. So far, however, neither this man nor any other eyewitnesses of the incident have contacted the media.
