Driving past a mountain village located in central China in the Hubei province, a Chinese motorist saw a strange stone sticking out of the ground, resembling a flying saucer. Without hesitation, he bought the stunning artifact from a local farmer and worked hard to take it home.
The huge stone consists of two ovals separated by vertical columns of the most varied shapes. At the bottom are the legs that support this entire stone structure and a small group of columns on the upper plane.
When Xia first saw this stone, he decided that, by all means, he would take it with him. Realizing that such a large monolith could not easily be dug up, he returned to the place of discovery all week to work with a shovel. Then, using a crane, he lifted the stone above the ground and took it to his home.
Despite the fact that the find has the usual forms, Wang Qingxiang, an expert on the culture and history of the Hubei and Hunan provinces, determined that the structure is made of basalt, but he could not tell if it was of natural, man-made, or … alien origin.

Flying saucer-like stones have already been found in Siberian regions of Russia. They often result from the deposition of minerals in the water, with similar disk structures forming within other rocks. However, the artifact looks more like part of some giant mechanism or like a stone statue of an ancient spaceship. In addition, the columns and the spacing between the levels seem to be too ideal for natural formation. Wang Qingxiang suggested that if this structure were carved by man, it could be an altar.
Maybe Xia Changjun knows something more, but doesn't say anything yet. In addition, he hid his stone away from prying eyes. Hopefully, more will soon be revealed about the mysterious stone structure.
