There are mysterious and unexplored places in the south of Kamchatka. Such places include "Kamenny Gorodok", located in the mountains on the territory adjacent to the "TI Shpilenko South Kamchatka Reserve".

Local residents discovered this mysterious place back in the middle of the last century, but no one betrayed the significance of this find, located on one of the spurs of the Galyginsky ridge. Only at the beginning of this century people began to pay attention to the details that give rise to thinking that the megalithic structures located on the "Gorodok" are man-made and, apparently, they have been more than one millennium.

All megalithic structures at Gorodok are pretty worn out, since the south of Kamchatka is constantly exposed to strong winds and heavy rainfall. Nevertheless, there is a regularity and a special order in megalithic structures composed of limestone interspersed with quartz. Speaking of quartz. Throughout the territory of the "Stone Town" you can see many interesting multi-colored stones, mostly quartzite, and quartz is known to be one of the strongest energy stores and attracts various entities not "from our world." Maybe that's why, over the south of Kamchatka you can very often see UFOs.

Here is how "Gorodok" is described on one of the tourist resources:

Kamenny Gorodok is one of the most mysterious places in the south of Kamchatka, belonging to the so-called Places of Power. At the moment, this is a mysterious place, absolutely not explored by experts, so you can fully feel like real researchers of megalithic structures. A modern man has practically never set foot here. Limestone structures support the sky at an altitude of more than 600 meters above sea level. Many of them are of such bizarre shape that there is doubt about their natural origin, because the south of the Kamchatka Peninsula in historical times was inhabited by the Ainu tribes.

Ainu is one of the most mysterious and poorly studied peoples of our planet. This people, even before the Egyptian civilization, possessed knowledge of the structure of the cosmos and worshiped Sirius. According to legend, it was from this star that the first Ainu arrived on Earth.

The ascent to the Gorodok takes an average of three hours, with stops for rest. It passes along the bed of a dried-up stream, among the dense Kamchatka jungle. But, as a rule, the reward awaits its heroes at the end of the path. In clear, sunny weather, the most wonderful and incomprehensible views open from the "Gorodok". From a height of more than 600 m you will be able to observe, as in the palm of your hand: Kuril Lake and the surrounding volcanoes; the valley of the Ozernaya river and the river itself, disappearing as a thin thread behind the majestic rock - the Eagle's wing; the volcanoes Kosheleva (Chaokhch) and Kambalnaya Sopka, abutting with their peaks in the skies; soaring wells of the Pauzhetskaya GeoPP; magnificent views of the Yavinsky and Galyginsky ranges.

A stay at Gorodok will leave an indelible impression on your mind."

There are many sacred places in the south of Kamchatka, which include the Kutkhiny Baty canyon shrouded in a halo of secrets, the Monastyr mountain with its majestic megalithic complex, amazingly shaped stone statues located on the Pakhomka mountain and many other completely unexplored objects …

When I first got to Gorodok, which was in the fall of 2011, I saw what I saw on TV exactly a week before my ascent to this amazing place. In the program "Mysterious Russia" about the Sakhalin Ainu, they showed one of the sacred places of Sakhalin Island, Mount Frog, on which identical megalithic figures are located, such as snake heads and "Shaman-stone". On the "Gorodok" snake heads are clearly oriented to the north-east.

According to legends that have come down to us from time immemorial, the limestone heads of snakes are directed to meet the rising star Sirius in the sky. In addition to the limestone figures described above, there are many other interesting objects on Gorodok, such as the Stone Shields, which look more like curved satellite dishes, the Kutkha's Beak, which looks like a falcon's beak, and there is already a connection with the ancient Slavic epic. Also on the "Gorodok" there are many different figures and buildings, the meaning of which we have yet to declassify.

Only this year, researchers of megalithic structures drew attention to the sacred complexes located in the very south of Kamchatka.
