We will talk about a few examples of how Roscosmos tries to appear to be needed.

Example one: Experiment "Plasma Crystal".

On March 7, 2019, a post was published in the Roscosmos group:

Post from the Roscosmos group in VK.

In this post, we are talking about news from zero gravity, from the cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko.

Tells the group members about an "important" experiment called "Plasma Crystal".

This is a joint Russian-German experiment that investigates the state of matter called "plasma".

But that's not the point.

Promotional video:

I was just driven into a fury by the following:

I just don't understand how much Roscosmos considers its subscribers and viewers to be idiots who have a five-minute memory.

It's just nonsense, but the members of this group really prove me right. Many people simply have no desire to learn anything.

They just read the news and get excited.

Roskosmos, in all seriousness, talks about this experiment and makes a sensation out of it. Shows the importance of the ISS and the Russian segment. And he also tries to prove the need for astronauts who receive crazy amounts of money and benefits:

Information about the salaries of astronauts from the Forbes magazine
Information about the salaries of astronauts from the Forbes magazine

Information about the salaries of astronauts from the Forbes magazine.

Astronauts receive Heroes of Russia and sometimes mock people who have an alternative view of some things. They are insulted, as Sergei Ryazansky did when he spoke of “flat-earthers”.

But back to the Plasma Crystal experiment.

Attached to the post are photographs of cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, where he does something with a serious look, looking at an outdated laptop with Windows 98 system. (And for some reason, the laptop is not from Elektronika, on which the Rus-Ivan system is installed, but quite even a "adversary IBM").

And all this is presented as the greatest event. Many news aggregators wrote articles about this experiment and even made reports:

But I did find a document from 2002 that talks about the beginning of this experiment.

Snippet of this document:

Fragment of a document from the journal * Researched in Russia * from 2002

Please note that the experiment started in 1998.

That is, 21 years ago.

All the discoveries that Roscosmos speaks about, about which the press writes, were made many years ago. You can also find references to this in various information sources.

In other words, for more than 20 years, Roskosmos has shown the need for an expensive ISS, has shown the importance of the Russian segment, the need for Russian retired cosmonauts who allegedly fly into orbit at an advanced age.

And all this, Roscosmos, shows its viewers and subscribers.

The media pick up these "fake sensations" and write articles with sensational and loud headlines.

Example two: Experiment "Motocard".

This is also a fairly well-known experiment that is being carried out on the ISS.

And it has also been held for more than a dozen years.

Here is a post from the Roscosmos group about this experiment, which is performed by the same Oleg Kononenko:

This post also includes photos of Oleg Kononenko, who conducts the Motocard experiment, on a treadmill:

This is also the clearest example of how Roscosmos is trying to show the importance of the ISS, and in particular the Russian segment.

The fact is that the first modern mention of the Motocard experiment can be found in the browser search engine:

The search engine returns a match for the year 2000
The search engine returns a match for the year 2000

The search engine returns a match for the year 2000.

So, the first mention of the "Motocard" experiment dates back to 2000.

Before that, similar experiments were carried out at the MIR station, but under different names.

For more than 18 years, Roskosmos has allegedly been studying the effect of weightlessness on the human body. And this is only if we take the new name of the experiment - "Motocard".

It is not known how many decades such an experiment has been conducted.

You can find a chronicle from the MIR station, and see for yourself that a similar experiment took place there. And not only this one.

In my attached chronicle, you will find experiments that are still being carried out on the ISS:

Newsreel from the station MIR. Timecode: 23:40.

Let's summarize:

Roskosmos, creates the illusion of a stormy activity of astronauts on the ISS.

He constantly passes off outdated discoveries as modern sensations.

This is not just the blatant hopelessness of the Russian cosmonautics, but also misleading people who pay taxes. People are shown “new items from the trash can” and are not shy.

It's hard for me to say what it is. Whether this is intentional, or is it shown because Roscosmos cannot show any achievements, remains a mystery.

The only thing that can be said for sure is the presence of obsolete technology in the State Corporation. Whether it's testing laboratories or medical offices.

It feels like you are in the USSR, where everywhere there was a hum from electronic tubes in devices that were incredible in size.

It's just a shame …

Now, I want to devote part of the article to the official version, especially for those who believe in astronautics and deep space exploration.

If everything really works and satellites plow the vastness of the universe, then please tell me why, China, which “in a year for a week” in astronautics, sent the lunar rover to the far side of the moon, and Roscosmos, talks about the need for a multifunctional shelf on the ISS ???

The importance of the shelf for astronauts:

Why are American spacecraft exploring planets and deep space, while we are drilling "holes" in the SOYUZ spacecraft ???

Why, SpaceX, makes returning steps (so that later they are not scattered throughout the Taiga), while our astronauts talk about how to properly go to the space toilet ???

Rocket stage in Taiga.

Why does a foreign vehicle fly to the Sun, and we have been conducting a useless experiment for 21 years ???

There are many questions, and you can go on and on.

The conclusion suggests itself, but it must be made by everyone independently who reads this article.

And maybe it's time to ask Roscosmos questions regarding experiments and the need for the ISS and the Russian segment in general, think …
