… in 1979 archaeologist Mary Leakey discovered a footprint identical to a human in Tanzania. It is estimated by experts to be 4 million years old. According to Darwin's theory, at that time there could not have been animals with such a foot. Only modern man has it, but then lived Australopithecus, whose toes were much longer …

The famous archaeologist Michael Kremo came to Omsk at the private invitation of the OmSTU Scientific Council. Among other things, the program of his stay included a meeting with journalists, at which he told that Darwin was wrong.

Michael Cremo considers himself an independent researcher of the origin of life on earth. According to him, he has been engaged in scientific research in this area since 1984.

His books Forbidden Archeology (1991) and The Unknown History of Humanity (2004, co-written with Richard Thompson) are among the top ten bestsellers in archeology. The Unknown History of Humanity has been translated into 20 languages, including Russian.

The secret of the popularity of his books, first of all, is that the postulates put forward by him contradict the generally accepted Darwinian theory of the origin of mankind. Michael Cremo talks about the facts showing that humanoid beings appeared on earth at least 50 million years ago.

According to the theory of evolutionists, life on earth originated 2 billion years ago. 40 million years ago, the first ape-like creatures appeared, 6 million years ago - great apes, and about 160,000 years ago - Homo sapiens.

However, Michael Cremo found that some archaeological finds contradict this generally accepted theory, but all such evidence, of which, according to him, there are already more than a hundred in the world, is carefully hidden.

We are talking about such a process of modern science as “knowledge filtration”. According to Cremo's version, only those results of archaeological excavations are published today that do not contradict Darwin's theory.

In support of this, the guest of Omsk gave some examples.

Once, he said, geologist Virginia Steve-McIntyre told in her work that evidence of human life was found, which is at least 250 thousand years old. The archaeologists who worked with her stated that this was impossible, a person could not create such artifacts, since he was not at such a stage of development at that time. They did not publish this figure, and Virginia Steve-McIntyre was not allowed to teach anymore after the publication of her work.

Another example: in 1979, archaeologist Mary Leakey discovered a footprint identical to a human in Tanzania. He is, according to experts, 4 million years old. According to Darwin's theory, at that time there could not be animals with such a foot. Only modern man has it, and then there lived Australopithecines, whose toes were much longer.

California's leading archaeologist, Dr. Whitney, found that the artifacts found in the 19th century (man-made mortar and pestle) are 50 million years old. And then, according to the theory of evolution, even monkeys could not exist.

The Omsk people asked Michael Kremo why modern science hides such facts. The researcher answered in an extremely vague and overly romantic way: he compared science to love. Scientists in love with the theory of evolution, in his opinion, do not want to accept that which contradicts it.

It should be noted that Michael Cremo did not provide any documentary evidence of the age of the archaeological finds in question. In general, he did not prepare any more convincing evidence than photographs of artifacts.

Evolutionists today have a monopoly in the education system. According to Michael Cremo, this state of affairs has both economic and political prerequisites. Darwin's theory took root so well in the 20th century because it was beneficial to all political systems. The key thesis of Marxism - being determines consciousness - the theory of evolution only confirms. The Nazis promoted the idea of competition among races - the theory of natural selection developed by the Darwinists was very suitable. The capitalist system is also based on competition: people are material machines that constantly fight, and in the end the strongest wins.

Economic benefits of the theory of evolutionin the fact that the material is more primary than the spiritual, and man is constantly striving for consumption. And consumption is what the economy of the capitalist countries is built on.

Thus, Darwinism today is not just a scientific theory, but the basis of modern culture.

Meanwhile, according to polls conducted by Kremo, only 10% of people in the United States believe in this theory. But the opposition in the scientific world is still not strong enough.

There are two main theories that contradict Darwinism. The first is the idea of creationism, which assumes that all things have an original creator. Almost all religions deny the evolutionary origin of man. Even Darwin himself believed in God, according to Cremo.

According to another theory, life originated in space. Be that as it may, no one has yet been able to demonstrate how living organisms arise when chemical elements combine. And no one can even prove yet that such a thing is possible at all.

Michael Cremo himself suggests that consciousness can exist separately from the body. If we agree with this point of view, then we can assume that initially we were pure consciousness and did not evolve from matter, as Darwin believed, but degraded into it. Matter, according to Cremo, does not create consciousness, but only covers it.

"If Darwinists acknowledge the existence of natural selection," the archaeologist said, "then why should they at least not allow competition with other theories?" He would like to see at least 5% allotted to alternative theories in educational programs.

Sergey Tikhonov, head of the Department of Primitive History of the History Department of Omsk State University, commented on Michael Kremo's speech:

“I am skeptical about Cremo's theory. The fact is that he is not an expert in primitive history, not an archaeologist. He is a philologist, literary critic, as he himself admits.

The materials he talks about he did not collect himself, he did not work with them - his laboratory assistant was engaged in this. In addition, he never mentioned his co-author Richard Thompson in his speech. The world's leading experts are suspicious of Kremo.

And if we talk about theories opposing evolutionary, then I could treat them with respect if they had at least some documentary evidence.

By the way, modern science is hiding nothing. On the contrary, practical researchers, archaeologists try to publish all the results of their activities. It's just that the circulation of such works is not very large."
