There is an opinion among researchers that in ancient times all continents were united and represented a supercontinent.

Later, this continent was divided into smaller parts, most of which have survived to this day. While viewing satellite maps, I had a question about the existence of the 7th continent.

Is there a chance that one of the continents is completely submerged?

And if we add the legend of Atlantis to this version?

Near Australia, you can see quite large areas submerged under water. To be honest, there are enough such places on Earth, but this one can be pulled by the ears under the concept of a continent.

Although in my humble opinion, it was more likely an addition to Australia, rather than a separate continent. On satellite maps, I did not notice a single place that can be safely called a flooded large continent.

It is still possible to admit a certain large island, but it is unlikely that the huge 7th continent is lost somewhere.

However, I draw these conclusions based only on satellite maps. It cannot be ruled out that the 7th continent existed many millions of years ago, so it is impossible to catch traces of its existence on the maps.

There is a huge sunken island near Antarctica, but how can it be compared to the ice giant next door?

Judging by satellite maps, the 7th continent did not exist on Earth in the near future. But it is clearly visible that a significant part of the land has gone under water, apparently due to the recent flood.

If we calculate how much land is now flooded, then their total territory can be compared with the whole continent.
