Sara-May Fileo, 35, a resident of Glasgow, Scotland, is a schoolteacher and comedian, but was diagnosed with a fatal brain tumor last December.
As it turned out, the tumor had been growing in her head for at least 15 years and is now too large. Because of this tumor, the woman once had a severe attack in her sleep and her friend Paul immediately took Sarah to the hospital. There they found a tumor.
Surgeons at a local hospital could perform an operation on an awake patient, or on an anesthetized patient. But Sarah herself chose that she wanted to remain conscious. In addition, with this method during brain surgery, if the patient is talking, it is easy to notice any negative change in his thinking.
This is not the first time such operations have been carried out, but each of them is still quite frightening and amazing for outside observers.
At first, Sarah just said something to the doctors, and then decided to tell jokes and sing songs. According to the girl, at that moment her fear immediately disappeared and the operating room began to resemble a room with friends.

Sarah's tumor was so large that according to doctors, it occupied almost half of the brain and any operation was risky. But the surgeons managed to remove 85% of the tumor without noticeable negative consequences for Sarah.
The woman successfully recovered, and recently she and her friend Paul decided to get married.
