… The general impression of the object under study was the following: a certain giant with the butt end of a giant pipe jumped along the shore, making a ditch in it. Part of the earth was packed into this "pipe", and part of it was pushed into the lake, breaking the ice with its mass and forming a shaft of soil in front of the pipe under water. As if bulldozing him. Then the giant flew away, taking the "pipe" with him. There remained a ditch, a hole, a shaft of soil at the bottom and for some reason green ice from below…

Four years ago, an unprecedented incident shook the Muromtsevsky district of the Omsk region. On a warm summer evening, Gennady Ananiev was returning from his parents. The familiar road did not bode well for surprises. And suddenly … Something flashed in the sky. Another moment, and a huge shining object rushed down, tracing the sky in wide zigzags. Some pieces began to fall off from him. Finally the UFO disappeared behind the trees. Ananyev subconsciously expected an explosion, but it did not follow.

But in the nearby village of Porechye, the blow was felt in full. Windows rattled in houses, the earth shook. What the next morning opened before the eyes of people did not fit into any framework. Shocked combiners crowded around the ideal, like a compass, a pit with a diameter of five meters. The walls are smooth, like a glass. The depth is four and a half meters. Around - not a single crumb of excavated earth, no traces! It was as if someone had driven a giant hollow cylinder in here and carefully pulled it up with a lot, along with a column of soil.

Another hole gaped nearby - more precisely, a well half a meter in diameter. It was not round, as from earthly drilling rigs, but oval. The bottom can not be seen. Stones flew down, but they disappeared without a trace into the black vent of the well. They ran for a longer rope and tied an ax to it. Five meters. Ten. Fifteen … The rope was already over, but there was still no bottom!

The miracle here was not in the depth of the pit, but in the fact that the water table under the field, even in a drought, did not drop below six meters. What kept the water, prevented it from flooding the well?

Rumors of the incident quickly spread to the regional center. Civil defense specialists soon found themselves in the ill-fated field. They walked around the pits with dosimeters and, not finding radioactivity, threw up their hands. Like, abnormal phenomena are not their part.

After all conceivable hypotheses have disappeared, there is only one left: the UFO is to blame. What seemed like a disaster was just a landing. The newcomers took the land aboard

and flew away …

It seems that it was not the first time that they were "overstocked" with our land on an astounding scale. In 1990, dozens of huge cylindrical pits appeared in the fields and steppes of Kazakhstan. In one of them, near the village of Malinovka, Tselinograd region, the tractor "Kirovets" almost fell. As in the Muromtsevsky district, the diameter of the pit was five meters …

Another pit was found in time near the Samarsky state farm of the Atbasar district. Its features are the same: perfectly round shape, smooth walls, cutting through the layers of the earth. We saw such "cylinders" in other places.

The Baikonur cosmodrome is also Kazakhstan. Soon the Space Forces became interested in one of the mysterious pits. “The radiometric and visual examination of the funnel, carried out by us, allows us to state absolutely precisely: this phenomenon is not associated with the fall of spacecraft or with the testing of weapons,” said Colonel B. F. Gromov. - No radiation was found at the site. Meteorites have nothing to do with it either. If they fall, a cylindrical funnel cannot form. In addition, if we assume this, there should be a significant release of soil to the surface around the funnel, but there is none."

The head of the regional committee for nature protection, V. P. Potapenko, tried to stick a long steel pin into the bottom of the pit. “They pushed him in with his hands about one and a half meters,” he said, “they drove him another meter with a hammer. He did not go further. Either hard rocks started, or the pin stumbled upon some kind of dense body. Unfortunately, this is where the research ended …

Once a UFO was caught "at the crime scene." Two brigades of Bashkir oil workers watched the dark red balls almost touching the ground. They vibrated menacingly, and no one dared to approach the mysterious objects. The next day, it turned out that where the UFOs were hanging, deep wells of a meter in diameter appeared. Exactly the same ball in 1990 left its mark on the lands of the Valsken Zorya state farm in the Dubensky region, having “sucked” 25 cubic meters of Mordovian land.

“The cut is almost perfect. But that's nothing, you can somehow understand, - the journalist of "Soviet Mordovia" described the pit. - The amazing begins further. Around the funnel absolutely not | there was no trace. And most importantly: where did the earth disappear to? That is, it turns out that someone from above scooped up a solid handful with unearthly accuracy and was like that."

The more and more frequent occurrence of mysterious pits makes us take a new approach to the famous incident on Korb Lake in the Leningrad Region in 1961.

It happened on the night of April 27-28, 1961 in remote places of the Russian north, on Lake Korb. On April 27, at about 21-00, Vasily Brodsky, a timber industry worker, walked along the lake shore to check a small dam on the runoff of the Tuksha River, which first flows into Lake Korb and then flows out of it further.

Brodsky did not notice anything unusual. After spending the night a few kilometers from the lake, in the morning he went back and at about 8 am was again on the lake. The path went along the same bank. Only this time the shore was completely different. So different that an ordinary Soviet worker of the timber industry decided to change all his plans and the whole day, and then another whole night (!) On foot (!) Walked to the regional center, from where he sent a telegram with the following content: “An incomprehensible crater has formed on the shore of the lake. We need specialists and divers."

Of course, it was not a funnel, but how to describe what he saw in other words, and even in the telegraph style, the employee of the timber industry did not know. However, the word "funnel" was intuitively chosen by him: it is associated with something military, explosive, saboteur.

A whole group of "competent comrades" soon arrived at the scene, including divers (as requested by a modest worker of the timber industry).

The group arrived at the site a week later - so much time was spent on approvals, selection of specialists and travel. By the way, they did not manage to get through to the very scene of the incident on an all-terrain vehicle - the places for equipment there are completely impassable, so the group of comrades walked for the last 30 kilometers. Arriving at the scene, they were finally able to appreciate what the shocked timber industry owner had estimated a week earlier …

It was certainly not a funnel. It was rather a ditch. 25 meters long, 18.6 meters wide and 3.5 meters deep in places. Reaching in places because the ditch was not evenly deep. It resembled a huge incision on the shore, partly going into the water. Where the ditch went into the lake, the ice was broken, and a large hole with ice fragments darkened. Moreover, it was immediately clear that the floating fragments were not enough to cover the entire space of the ice hole. And on the ice surrounding the wormwood, there were no fragments. Where is the missing ice?

The group was also struck by the lack of soil around the ditch. They all, apparently, were under the influence of the worker's telegram about the funnel, so they subconsciously or consciously looked for the soil thrown out by the explosion. He was absent. Someone, as if with a giant scoop, ran along the shore, selecting the ground, and then carrying it to no one knows where. Moreover, apparently carried away by air, because there were no traces of construction equipment anywhere. And the places here, as the expeditioners were convinced from their own experience, are impassable even for heavy equipment.

Light small balls of dark color floated in the hole. They resembled charred millet and were easily pulverized between the fingers.

The divers started to work. And during the first dive, the missing ice was found - it was crushed by an earthen rampart, and it could not float … Moreover, the amount of soil lying on the bottom and crushing the ice did not correspond to the volume of the ditch. It was as if most of the soil had been torn out and disappeared, and a small fraction "did not fit" or "did not have time to fit" and was squeezed into the lake, forming a ground shaft at the end of the ditch under water. Although, "squeezed out" is the wrong word. The process of the formation of the ditch occurred so quickly that the shaft of "extra" earth fell on the ice surface, broke it and pressed most of the ice to the bottom.

Coming out of the water, the diver accidentally touched one of the few floating pieces of ice. It turned over, and the eyes of the astonished people saw the emerald-green lower surface of the piece of ice. Microalgae? They broke off a piece from the edge of the untouched ice field and turned it over. This ice - unaffected by the giant trencher - was quite ordinary, white from above and below.

The divers collected ice floes floating in the ice hole and having a green bottom, put them in banks - for analysis. In addition to emerald ice (which, of course, melted along the way and arrived in Leningrad in the form of ordinary clear water), the expeditioners took soil samples and black grains floating in the ice hole. And, of course, we took a lot of photos.

The general impression of the object under study remained with people: a certain giant with the butt of a giant pipe jumped along the shore, making a ditch in it. Part of the earth was packed into this "pipe", and part of it was pushed into the lake, breaking the ice with its mass and forming a shaft of soil in front of the pipe under water. As if bulldozing him. Then the giant flew away, taking the "pipe" with him. There remained a ditch, a hole, a shaft of soil at the bottom and for some reason green ice below.

In Leningrad, specialists have taken up the mysterious ditch … What do you mean - "specialists"? What kind of specialists can there be on mysterious ditches? The expeditioners turned to the Leningrad University … Specialist on meteorites, Professor V. Sharonov, after looking at the pictures and studying the circumstances of the case, rejected the meteorite hypothesis: the meteorites are not long ditches, but round craters, the ground thrown out by the explosion and, finally, the meteorite itself … University geologists, smiling, said that the ditch on Lake Korb has nothing to do with karst phenomena and landslides.

The analysis of water (former green ice) gave more interesting results. In the laboratory of fine chemical analysis at the Department of Analytical Chemistry of the Leningrad Technological Institute, they gave the following conclusion: "The elements identified in the melted ice do not make it possible to explain its green color, which the expedition members pointed out." In other words, any combination of these elements could in no way turn the ice green.

The analysis of light dark grains, which were easily rubbed between the fingers, read: "In the infrared spectrum of the powder obtained by grinding the grains, the absorption band corresponding to the vibration of the CH group, characteristic of any organic compound … is absent."

That is, the grains were inorganic. Their chemical composition was generally far from natural. When looking at the grains through a microscope, a metallic luster was noted. They did not dissolve in either concentrated sulfuric or a mixture of sulfuric and hydrofluoric acids. Most of all, these fragile grains resembled pellets of dross, which is usually formed during welding.

Since it was impossible to understand anything from the results of the study, they were gradually forgotten. And nine years later, another person named Raitarovsky appeared at the scene. He appeared unofficially, as a curious person who had heard about this story. This is what he saw - the ditch was overgrown with grass and trees. Moreover, as it seemed to Raitarovsky, the vegetation in the ditch was juicier and thicker than around.

The researcher made a hole and took soil samples in order to find the mysterious grains. And he really found them in the ground, two or three hundred pieces. They were small, with a purple tint, hollow and easily crumbled in the fingers. Further microscopic examination confirmed past findings: a crystal structure was observed at the fracture site of these tiny shells.

Eight years later, Raitarovsky managed to encourage an entire expedition from IZMIRAN to travel to the scene. Arriving at the site, the expedition found that the ditch was overgrown with lush vegetation. Moreover, the young forest grew precisely and only in a mysterious ditch, and not around it. Again they took samples of water, soil, bottom soil, sent to the laboratory. But the laboratory did not find anything special either in the soil or in the water …
