According to testimony before death, the reason for our existence is to achieve spiritual growth. We are more spiritual than physical being.
We assume that the body of flesh strives for spiritual growth, to complete a mission for God, to prepare for higher spiritual realms, to test our spiritual ideas that we had before birth to see if we really have these ideals in order to gain a level of self-realization. to rediscover higher knowledge in physical ways, to be more of a companion of God, to find the Kingdom of Heaven within, to achieve our goal of evolution into the higher spiritual beings that we once were, but with individuality.
Love is God who loves others and is all that really matters. Everything else, our achievements and material wealth, does not matter at all. It is important to love people, nature, animals and everything in creation. Whether people realize it or not, love is what we strive for and must support us. Although love is too great and deep to be fully known in one lifetime, without love we are nothing. To love everyone as ourselves, we must love ourselves, otherwise our love for others is false. It is impossible to be truly happy if we only have self-love. Until we pay attention to others, we cannot grow spiritually. Our choice is between the spirit of God (love for oneself, love for others) and the spirit of ourselves (selfishness, love only for oneself). By conquering ourselves, we can easily change and grow, and we know that we ourselves are one with the Whole. When we do to others, we do to ourselves.
All paths ultimately lead to God - love. Love is a hard lesson we learn here to learn more and apply to ourselves. While in the physical body, the Kingdom of God is within. Part of our mission is to manifest the kingdom in the world. Our goal is to achieve the unity of man and God. As spirit beings, our core is perfect love - a spark of divinity. When our human nature is fully aware of the divinity within, the result is self-divine realization. Part of this realization is that everyone is deeply connected to each other through divine love - God. What one person does affects everyone else.
We are all in the same spirit, and to change the world, we need to change ourselves. One simple act of selfless love affects everyone else. A simple smile can change the entire course of human history. The good we do for others will eventually return to us. It is important to help each other rise to a higher level of love. Life is about people, not occupations. It's about loving people, not things. Knowing love is not enough. It must be expressed. What we become in life has no meaning unless it is done for the benefit of others. The ideal is to love others completely, of course, even more than we love ourselves.
By and large, religious dogma means nothing. The work, not the creed, is what really matters. True religion is to love others as yourself. It is love, not religious dogma, that creates spiritual growth. What is important is what comes from the heart, and not what a person confesses with his mouth. Love in action is what lasts. The more we live in love, the closer we are to God. The path to heaven is through the practice of love. Love is the law of the universe and unites the universe. The Golden Rule is a guiding principle in the spirit world. Our destiny in the spiritual realm is determined by the level of spiritual maturity. This is often accomplished through difficulties that challenge us and help us grow and remain compassionate. Before we can truly feel joy, we must know sadness. This world is a hard roadhelping to create in us the tough love of God. Life is a cycle of improvements that ultimately lead to excellence.

As soon as we leave the physical world, we enter the spirituality that we have developed in ourselves during our life. Then we look at reality from an internal perspective, not an external one. Heaven and hell are not places but spiritual conditions. We “grow” to heaven, not “go” to heaven. The spiritual state of being that we reach on earth is the spiritual state that we take with us after death.
We are all at different levels of light, corresponding to different levels, representing different stages of spiritual growth. The central factor that determines our level of spiritual growth is the degree to which we have lived for the sake of others. Our ability to accept truth, to live by it, determines our progress in spirit and determines the degree of light that we possess. The higher our spiritual maturity, the brighter the light from our spirit will be.
The main purpose of returning to the physical world is training leading to the advancement of our souls into spiritual maturity. We have been given all the opportunities it takes to achieve this. Then, like the prodigal son, we return to our real home. Once we have learned the lessons needed in the physical world, we do not need to go back.
