A resident of the English city of Southampton, Zoe Relph (Zoe Relph), told how her three-year-old son, who was in the intensive care unit of a local hospital after brain surgery, was healed thanks to a dog named Leo. Her story was shared by The Mirror.

The health of the boy Oscar Haskell, who ended up on the operating table due to a rare brain disease - acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, worsened every day. He gradually ceased to respond to external stimuli. Doctors warned his mother that she should be prepared for the worst.

Doctors offered the mother an alternative way to treat her dying son using pet therapy and brought a golden retriever dog named Leo to the ward. On the advice of the doctors, the woman began to talk to the child and promised him that if he recovered, they would give him a puppy. As soon as the dog's paw was placed on his hand, the boy's rapid pulse after the operation returned to normal values.

“It was amazing. The doctors were crying, it was just a miracle. His face was immobilized, he did not move at all. And suddenly he smiled,”Relf recalls. Four years have passed since then, and Oscar's condition has only improved. His mother only decided to share the story now.
