The video demonstrates a rare natural phenomenon called the hubub, when a rapidly moving cold atmospheric front forms a cloud in front of it in the form of a giant wall of dust.
Habub is commonly found in the deserts of Egypt and Arabia, but is extremely rare in other parts of the world. During the rainy season, the hubub is preceded by a heavy thunderstorm, which usually begins no more than two hours after the onset of the storm. The swift movement (in Texas wind speed reached 96 km / h) of the cold atmospheric front forms a cloud in front of it in the form of a wall of dust up to 1.5 kilometers high and up to 30 kilometers wide. Habub is part of a vortex in powerful cumulonimbus clouds, the bottom of an arc squall, a tilted tornado, and has destructive power, so locals in Lubbock, Texas, are not yet advised to leave their homes.
