In the UK, a girl gave birth to a baby with a full milk tooth. The local newspaper Blackpool Gazette writes about it. 18-year-old Bethany Green from the English city of Blackpool, Lancashire, gave birth to a girl named Avery on January 16. The birth, which lasted four hours, was successful for both mother and baby. On examination, the nurses noticed that a milk tooth was sticking out of the newborn's lower gum. The mother went to the dentist for advice. “They had never seen anything like this before, they just had some idea that it was possible,” says Green. “They wanted me to come to the reception, where there would be students who could find out about this.”

Usually, a baby's teeth begin to erupt between four and seven months after birth, the newspaper notes. Green clarified that she does not plan to remove a tooth from a child: doctors advise getting rid of it if the mother is going to breastfeed the baby, but the woman decided in advance that she would do it with a bottle. In September 2018, it became known about the youngest child born in the UK, who was discharged from the hospital six months later. The newborn weighed as much as a can of Coca-Cola. Its weight was 340 grams.
