In general Hinduism views God not as the Supreme All-Powerful Giant, Who commands that humanity (humanity) walk, the way He / She / It says, but also a personal God, whom an individual can worship out of love and not necessarily out of fear! Fear brings one single upto some point, and moreover it reflects, but love takes through to the point. Devotion or bhakti as it often refers to is a very key concept in Hinduism, even for the philosophically inclined. While shashtras - be it, vedas, Agamas, purANas - describe the Glory of God, one finds an abundance of stotras that praise the one in love with God.
Is God Formless or with Form?
For the God of the Hindus, as - beyond any signs of form, color, forms … That is, God does not have any specific form or name (name). In this state God is referred to as nirguNa brahman (attributeless god). However, God takes forms as perceived by humans, and this perceived form is called saguNa brahman (god with (good) attributes). These forms could range from calm to fierce to yogic. Each form has its meaning. For example, when one is depressed and sees the form of God, strong and Powerful, the seeker feels a moral boost that God would definitely be support for the right thing. Likewise, when in an auspicious ceremony, he would like God to be a calm provider of goods. In a spiritually elevated state, the choice would be the form of the yogic God. Shapes provide a foundation for the Hindu worshiper,to easily pursue an otherwise incomprehensible Supreme. So Hinduism maintains both form as well as formless worship of God. - whether one worship is in the saguNa or nirguNa way, it is ultimately by the same God.
Let us salute God, Who has no name (name) or form or anything like that, sing thausands of Her names (names)!
Is there an evil force against God?
God is Almighty and Supreme. So how can there be anything good or bad against It? If good things are the creation of God and bad things of some other evil force, the gravitational force of the earth will be attributed to God or another force, as it is an element of a commodity for us to live, at the same time kills someone who falls from a high-rise building! In a made system by God, usually everyone gets to enjoy good or bad things based on what their addictions were and the actions they did because of it. (This is called fate.) There is no evil (type of Satan) against God. In fact the atharva veda puts it very clearly, Promotional video:
- "Na dvitIyo na tR'itIyashchaturtho nApyuchyate
- Na pa.nchamo na ShaShThaH saptamo nApyuchyate
- NAShTamo na navamo dashamo nApyuchyate
- Ya etaM devamekavR'itaM veda"
There is not one second to It, not one (no) third, not even the fourth.
There is not one fifth to It, not one (no) sixth not even the seventh.
There is not one eighth to It, not one (no) ninth not even a tenth.
This is the only Supreme. This must be known.
The concept of good and bad things at a lower level and that also in a different way than strictly good and evil. Divines the called Virgo - protectors and essentials who support the worlds. For example, air, sun, moon, water, shoots, etc. Those who destroy (interrupt) the life supporting the mechanism are daemons called asuras. Conflicts between the two often arise and Hindu epics talk at length about them. However, it must be taken into account that, as defined in purANas, all Virgos are not perfect beings and asuras are worthless evil.
Is God in some heaven outside?
God is not only something that is in the far heavens, who would be met with after death if you get to heaven, etc. God is omnipresent. This right is before us. Oh, It's right within us too. Well, It is in every and every minute of a minute particle existing / invalid somewhere! Does it stay in the world outside? Of course It does there too. (The very famous gAyatri mantra salutes the Supreme to be earth, world around and heaven outside). One need doesn't wait for a whole life span to get to meet God. An important concept in Hinduism is that God can understand, right here in this world and God is not only Magnificent Almighty, but also sweet beautiful, with someone whom yu can have a relationship - an adherent, spouse, sibling, child, a parent … God is just not in some heavens,This is right in us. It is both unusual as well as mixed in everything. Those who understand His presence reap a great reward.
Hinduism says God is not only Him. This is outside the created contours of the genus. For this reason, the scriptures very often use the term "It" to refer to God other than using Him and Her. Especially when it comes to the Supreme in a natural state (Attributeless), they prefer It to Him or Her. The form of God ardhanArIshvara clearly conveys to that God, masculine, feminine and middle. When God is called the God of all beings, It is God regardless of genus, animal race (race), or whatever other differentiation one could think of.
God understood not only posited
The beauty of Hinduism is that the concept of God is tried to be understood, experienced. There are purANas that intelligently communicate through the voice, divining the glory of God. They are one piece. On the other hand, the scriptures like the upaniShads analyze through questioning and reasoning the concept of God. The two types go very hand in hand. Neither (none, no) divine glory limited by the reach of human mind with purANa is like the scriptures reporting things beyond normal human reach. At the same time, they do not command the blind to follow some superhuman texts, but also very much allow analysis. The presence of a range of philosophies in the Hindu system is proof of this. There are texts like yogasutras that cover (cover) the possibility of reasoning to divine glory as well. So the total and full spectrum of human verification to superhuman wisdom is abundantly available for the smooth progress of a follower in Hinduism. No need to be blindfolded, explore your path to the Highest !!
