Dr. Silver believes that a number of chronic human diseases, such as back pain, may indicate that humankind has evolved in a world with lower gravity. The scientist cites other unique characteristics of people as an example. For example, our children have relatively large heads and women experience difficulties in childbirth (a controversial question - it turns out that in the original world, the heads of the children were smaller or something like that?) No other species on Earth has such problems. Silver also takes into account the presence of 223 additional human genes that are not in the genome of other terrestrial creatures.
Silver believes that humanity has "serious flaws", indicating that people did not originate here.
It is no coincidence that the saying appeared - "there are no healthy people."
According to Dr. Silver, one of the probable birthplaces of mankind is the nearest star system - Alpha Centauri.
Silver writes that humans are the most developed local species. However, we are remarkably ill-adapted to planetary conditions. Sunlight triggers cancer. Natural (raw) foods are disgusting to people. In addition, many people feel alien to this world. They feel like guests on Earth.
