However, a number of people have gone even further - they prove that the landing actually took place, it was simply carried out in order to provide cover for secret missions to establish bases on the Moon and beyond. Many agree that there are secret programs that are funded by the US government and are not made public. However, some of the theories are simply so ridiculous that it's amazing how so many people can believe in them.
10. Alternative 3

Almost immediately after the broadcast of the documentary "Alternative 3" on the British channel Anglia TV in 1977, a barrage of phone calls from people who expressed their bewilderment and concern fell on the broadcaster. The documentary told about the secret space program, which has been developed for many decades, and the purpose of which is to create a base on Mars, where the world's leading scientists are gradually being transported. The reason for this lay in the impending disaster on Earth.
The public outcry was such that Anglia TV executives were forced to admit that the show was fake and completely fictional. It was originally slated to air on April 1, but went on the air on June 20 instead. However, some did not believe the denial and argued for years that the documentary was a true reflection of reality.
As a result, the British show unwittingly laid the foundation for many theories about secret space programs and projects that have excited the public consciousness over the years.

9. Project Serpo

In 2005, a story appeared on the Internet regarding a secret space program that was aimed at "establishing" communication with the aliens inhabiting Serpo, the alleged planet in the Zeta Grid system. The story appeared thanks to a certain Victor Martinez, who claimed that he was provided with information by a person who had previously worked for the US government, and who wished to remain anonymous. According to the informant, the government withheld information that after the UFO crash in Roswell, they got not only an alien ship and several dead aliens, but also a surviving crew member with whom they managed to establish contact.
The surviving alien lived in a secret location until 1952, during which time he helped scientists repair their ship and establish contact with their home planet. In 1964, the Ebens returned to Earth and entered into negotiations with the US government about an exchange program - the so-called Serpo Project. For the mission, 12 people were selected from all branches of the military.
They left Earth in 1965, flying with aliens to Serpo. They returned to Earth after 13 years, in 1978, only 8 people: two died during the mission and two decided to stay on Serpo. The reports of those who returned exceeded 3000 pages in volume.

According to the Solar Warden theory, there is a secret fleet of spaceships that constantly patrol the solar system. Theories differ regarding the purpose of this top-secret space fleet. Some believe that he patrols the outer reaches of space and protects humans from any potential alien attacks.
Others believe the project is being used to colonize part of the solar system. As unlikely as this theory is, Dr. Eric Norton, a NASA consultant, said he believes there is a fleet of "technologically advanced" spacecraft on the other side of the moon.

In 2014, the National Security Archives published documents detailing Project Horizon, a secret project that began in 1959 to explore the possibility of establishing a permanent base on the moon. First of all, this program was aimed not at scientific activity, but at confronting the Soviet Union (after all, in those years the Cold War was in full swing).
The plans mention the creation of an "Earth observation system on the Moon." The authors of the project believed that construction should begin as soon as possible. Despite the fact that the United States did manage to land people on the moon several times between 1969 and 1972, it was all over. At least according to the official version. Conspiracy advocates argue that the missions to the moon were just an official cover, but in fact the base was secretly built.

At the end of 2014, the European Space Agency managed to dock the Rosetta probe to comet 67P / Churyumov-Gerasimenko. This allowed for the first time to study in detail the composition of the comet, and also opened up the possibility of future operations for the extraction of valuable minerals in space. It was no doubt a historic moment, but some people argue that the official story was a cover story. Comet 67P was supposedly not a comet at all, but an alien ship, and the European Space Agency and NASA deliberately kept silent about this.
They said it was ridiculous to think that global space agencies would "suddenly spend billions of dollars just to get images of an ordinary comet," and that the mission would take about ten years. Also, conspiracy theorists claim that NASA discovered mysterious cosmic signals that came from the area of comet 67P two decades ago. For its part, the European Space Agency added fuel to the conspiracy theory when it posted a video of Comet 67P's Mystic Song.

Some conspiracy theorists even claimed that the CIA managed to create this portal by stealing Nikola Tesla's documents immediately after his death in the early 1940s. Relfi stated that he was part of an alleged operation and was recruited by the CIA in 1976. He said that for two decades he helped establish one of two Martian colonies.
Even stranger, Relfi claims that once his mission was completed, then his "age was made the same, after which the employee was returned to the past time." This was supposedly standard procedure. Moreover, he allegedly managed to partially recall the program literally by a miracle, since most of the people involved in the project had their memories blocked or erased. Dr. Basiago also stated that he was aware of the US government's secret time travel program, claiming that the CIA used talented and intelligent schoolchildren because "their minds were better at dealing with unusual conditions than adults."
According to Basiago, many adults have gone mad due to intense pressure on an already formed mind. Not only was the program used to colonize Mars, but also to gain a political advantage over the rest of the world. For example, Basiago claims that in 1971 he was shown photographs of 9/11, a terrorist attack from the World Trade Center, which were delivered from the future.

The "well-known" theory is that the Nazis partially colonized Antarctica and created a secret base there. Conspiracy theorists claim that this base was used to develop the space program based on the knowledge gained from reptilian aliens.
This theory was voiced by US Navy intelligence officer William Tompkins, who said that the aliens showed the Nazis secret areas of Antarctica that were once under the control of an alleged ancient alien race. Whether the Nazis achieved success in their space program is unknown.
However, there were conspiracy theories that not only was this program successful, but the Nazis were able to establish a base on the moon. And as part of Operation Paperclip at the end of World War II, these Nazi scientists allegedly worked for the US government.

One of the wildest secret space programs purportedly implied that no human has ever left Earth, at least in their physical body. Before the Pioneer 10 probe sent the first close-up images of Jupiter, the CIA allegedly participated in secret experiments and programs related to remote viewing. Scientists from Stanford University were brought in to help the project.
One of the people in this program was a certain Ingo Swann, who "in an astral body traveled through space, flew past Mars, through the asteroid belt and reached Jupiter." Swann claimed that he saw a "ring" around the fifth planet. When Pioneer 10 reached Jupiter, it turned out that there are indeed rings around this planet. Scientists did not know this at the time.

The X-37B unmanned space shuttle has been in Earth orbit for over a year now. The Russian press has repeatedly argued that the X-37B is in fact part of the US mission to destroy satellites from space, essentially a continuation of the old Ronald Reagan-era Star Wars program. While this is considered nonsense by many, NASA's excessive secrecy creates fertile ground for speculation. Laura Grego, chief researcher for the Union of Concerned Scientists' Global Security Program, said there is no "compelling reason" why the X-37B mission is so secret.

Rutledge stated that an ancient alien base was actually found on the moon. Moreover, an alien female humanoid was also found at this base, which was in a state of suspended animation.
