Arguing about the existence of prophetic dreams is generally useless. And even scientists have agreed that the phenomenon of dreams exists. Historians have recorded many such cases, which prove that prophetic dreams (or prophetic dreams) are not fiction.

It is well known about the dream of Mikhail Lermontov. The poet liked to study mathematics in his spare time. Mechanic Elias Howe (1819-1867) from America experimented for a long time creating a sewing machine. But he couldn't do anything. The thread was torn again and again. Howe pulled the thread up into the “eyelet,” as is done with a conventional sewing needle. But one night he had a dream that he was climbing a tree in Africa. Aborigines dance around it with spears, on the tips of which holes are visible. When Howe woke up, he already knew the solution to the problem. The hole for the thread should not be at the blunt end of the needle, but at the point. And that same afternoon, Howe invented the first double-stitch sewing machine.
Giuseppe Tartini, the 18th century Italian virtuoso violinist and composer, had a dream in which he makes a pact with the devil. When he sold his soul to the devil, he received a sonata from him. The writer Laszlo Josef Biro got ink dirty all the time when he wrote something. It pissed him off. In 1938 he had a dream in which several people looked into his office from the street, thereby interfering with his work. In a dream, he took a gun and shot at the troublemakers, but only ink flew out of the barrel. In a rage, he began to stuff balls of blotting paper into the barrel. James Watt, who is best known as the inventor of the first working steam engine, but he also owns another invention, which is less significant than the steam engine, but equally morally aging. Lead was either rolled into a sheet, and the sheets were cut into pieces, or a wire was pulled out of it, and then cut into small pieces. And so Wattu began to see the same dream for a week.

The interpreters of dreams and sages of the past have all the time tried to solve the riddle of dreams. Even the famous psychiatrist Sigmund Freud, in his Interpretation of Dreams, published in 1900, tried to lift the veil over the secret of sleep. And, nevertheless, the dream continued and still continues to ask riddles, one more complicated than the other.
Experts argue that the so-called "insights in a dream", as a continuation of the concentrated vital activity of the brain, can still be explained, but it is much more difficult to understand prophetic dreams.
