In the history of the Slavs, the legends about the mysterious Hyperborea occupy a separate and very important place. It is believed that it is Hyperborea, which was located on the site of the modern Arctic, that is the ancestral home of mankind. And this is confirmed by many treatises of the ancient peoples of the world, as well as religious sources.

According to the great predictor Nostradamus, “The North is a special place. This is the meeting place for other worlds."

It is known that Hyperborea had a direct connection with the history of ancient Russia. So the language of the ancient Russians (sometimes they were called Hyperboreans), used in manuscripts, has some similarities with the modern Russian language. In the "Centuries" of Nostradamus, the prophet called the Russian people "Hyperborean people".

What is known about the mysterious Hyperborean people who inhabited the northern lands?

Scientists are sure that this race possessed an enormous amount of knowledge, far exceeding the level that modern mankind has reached. In addition, researchers of the ancient races say that the Hyperboreans also possessed a high level of technology. So, for example, they flew on devices capable of instantly covering huge distances.

Using the latest technologies available to modern scientists, researchers have established that more than 2 thousand years ago, the Arctic climate was temperate, and the northern ocean was free of ice. According to the results obtained by the Russian scientist A. Treshikov, the ice ridges of Mendeleev and Lomonosov known today, located below sea level in the ice mass, previously rose hundreds of meters above the surface of the cold continent.

Today it is difficult to imagine that the Arctic had a climate comfortable enough for the existence of the life of an ancient civilization. At the same time, on the existing map of the bottom of the Arctic Ocean, the outlines of coastlines, traces of valleys cut by the crooked channels of the once former rivers, are quite clearly visible.

One of the confirmations of the existence of a high-tech civilization in the north of Eurasia is the presence of megaliths and menhirs in the Arctic. This refers to the huge stone monuments located in the north of Russia (the territory of the Solovetsky Islands and the Kola Peninsula), as well as stone labyrinths located in Scandinavia. English Stonehenge and the Menhirs Alley in French Brittany can also be attributed to these stone monuments of ancient civilization.

In 1997, an ornithological research group working on the shores of Novaya Zemlya discovered an amazing labyrinth of shale slabs stacked tightly on top of each other. The diameter of the labyrinth spiral is 10 meters and this find excited the entire scientific world.

At the same time, observing the annual migration of migratory birds to the North, it can be assumed that it is genetic memory that makes them return to the homeland of their ancestors from year to year.

But it is not only in the writings of our distant ancestors that they speak of the northern people, possessing enormous knowledge and possessing innumerable benefits.

Known map of the English navigator Gerard Mercator, which was published in 1595. In the center of this map is the legendary Arctic, and around the North Sea with quite recognizable designations of rivers and islands. The description of the coast of America and the northern part of Eurasia is amazing in its accuracy. The map shows the strait between America and Asia, which was first passed by the Russian navigator Semyon Dezhnev only in 1648. The famous explorer of the North, Vitus Bering, intended to open Hyperborea for humanity, he passed this strait in 1728 and the strait between Asia and America was named after him.

Based on the presence of a detailed map of Mercator in ancient times, a fairly well-grounded opinion arises that Columbus was far from instinctively setting off on distant voyages - he knew secret information from ancient archives.

It may be bold, but it is quite possible that Mercator used some ancient knowledge when creating this map. Hyperborea is depicted in particular detail in the form of four large islands separated by deep rivers. There was a high mountain in the center of the legendary country. By the way, according to the chronicles, the universal mountain of the earthlings' ancestors (Polar Mount Meru) was located exactly at the North Pole. This mountain was considered the center of concentration of the heavenly and heavenly worlds. In the 3rd book of the Mahabharata, the Polar Mount Meru was described in this way; “For thirty-three thousand yojanas (spread) the golden mountain Meru, the queen of the mountains. Here (are) the gardens of the Gods - Nandana and other blessed places of rest for the righteous. There is no hunger, no thirst, no fatigue, there is no fear of cold or heat, there is nothing negative or disgusting, there are no diseases. Everywhere there breathes delicate aromas, every touch is pleasant. Sounds flowing from everywhere, enchanting the soul and hearing. There is no sadness, no old age, no worries, no suffering. " And few people dreamed of getting into a magical land where “there were no diseases, no deception, no envy, no crying, no pride, no cruelty, no quarrels and negligence, hostility, resentment, fear, suffering, malice and jealousy."

Note that today some researchers argue that there is evidence hidden from the general public that there is a huge seamount in the Russian waters of the Arctic Ocean, which plunged into the depths of cold waters relatively recently.

It is interesting that most of the historical events associated with Hyperborea are closely related to the history of Russia. It turns out that it was precisely the northern latitudes of Eurasia (Karelia, Novaya Zemlya, Spitsbergen (Russian Grumant), the Polar Urals and other northern territories that were called Hyperborea. Most of the legends and tales of Russian folklore are associated with a wonderful and magical country (possibly Hyperborea): there are milk rivers with jelly shores, there is a self-assembled tablecloth, there are the Golden and Flower kingdoms.

The most famous impartial scientist of antiquity, Pliny the Elder, wrote about the Hyperboreans in his Natural History: “… a happy people, which are called Hyperboreans, reaches very advanced years and is glorified by wonderful legends. The sun shines there for six months, and this is only one day, the luminaries there rise only once a year. Homes for these residents are groves, forests; the cult of the Gods is managed by individuals and by the whole society; there is no discord or disease. Death comes there only from satiety with life. After partaking of food and the light pleasures of old age from some rock, they throw themselves into the sea. This is the happiest kind of burial … One cannot doubt the existence of this people."

It was believed that the Hyperboreans had power over all the elements, so there were no natural disasters and bad weather in the country. Compliance with the laws of Law, Justice and Righteousness allowed the Hyperboreans to live in complete harmony.

It is believed that Hyperborea did not suffer the fate of Antlantis, therefore, the search for a mysterious country in the northern territories of modern Russia continues to this day.
