Another expedition into the depths of the Ecuadorian forest ended with a unique find. Archaeologists have discovered a hitherto unknown city, which in local legends is described as the abode of giants who for a very long time were the indigenous inhabitants of the area.

The Ecuadorian Indians described this race to the researchers as follows: this is a great people who knows how to build majestic cities and smooth roads, and they were here long before the appearance of the first Indian.

An unknown cataclysm destroyed the majestic buildings of the Giants, and those who survived were forced to leave these places. And the deserted settlements very soon swallowed up the impassable jungle.

It is not known for certain how many thousands of years ago all these structures were built. But even the most modest forecast of scientists speaks of 11,000 years ago.

At the moment, only small fragments of buildings and blocks have survived in the extremely aggressive environment of the equatorial jungle.

The computer analysis of aerial photographs made it possible to assert that the jungle hides artificial formations, among which there is a pyramid 80 meters high, and its base width is 100 meters. At the same time, it was even found that the Pyramid was built of stone blocks, the weight of which varies from 2 to 3 tons. The detected artifacts confirm the analysis of the photographs.

Unfortunately, due to the extremely difficult conditions and inaccessibility of the area, the research remained incomplete. But several international expeditions are already planned to this area of the Ecuadorian forest. And what kind of artifacts they will find is anyone's guess.
