The British researcher issued a statement according to which there is an underground vampire network of 15,000 members in the UK and called on the bloodsuckers to come out of the darkness.
Dr Emyr Williams of Glyndwr University, who is immersed in the study of vampires, recently announced that there is an underground network of 15,000 bloodsuckers in Britain.
“This subculture exists in every country, especially in the West,” the scientist says. “She is a group of people who drink blood and take away people's energy, but at the same time they are guided by clear rules that determine whose blood can be taken and who cannot be touched.
For example, sanguine vampires receive blood from certain parts of the body of volunteer donors and should not take too much. There are also mediums and hybrid vampires who are affiliated with donors, enthusiasts, and role players who are part of the community. It's very interesting and absolutely real."
Williams, convinced that bloodsuckers are "not crazy or mentally ill," urged vampires to come out of the dark and tell people about their lifestyle and habits. In addition, he hopes that representatives of this subculture will express a desire to take part in the online survey and thereby support his research.
“We need to study vampires to reduce our fear of them and allow them to be accepted as part of society,” the scientist said. - Their psychology is very interesting and I sincerely believe that they are not crazy and not dangerous individuals interested in Gothic culture and cemeteries. It's just that we have different belief systems, and for many, vampirism is a way of life and a kind of religion. There are 15,000 vampires and 30,000 donors in the UK alone. But it is worth remembering that they are not dangerous."
