How did it all start? In early 1915, an 8-year-old girl, Lucia, was walking with her friends and saw a figure hanging in the sky. Since then, they have seen this figure several times, with which they associated a divine appearance. But only in March 1917 she spoke to them, and ordered them to come here for another seven months. The next time, people gathered in this place who also saw the appearance of the "Mother of God", as the Church claims.
For several months, the girls and other eyewitnesses met with the Mother of God, and she told them some information. Subsequently, these words became known as the three secrets of Fatima. And on October 13, this meeting was accompanied by a celestial phenomenon - it hit the press as the "dance of the sun". This phenomenon has already been seen by 70 thousand people, and it has been recorded by scientists. After that, the meetings of the girls stopped, and their fate was as predicted by the spirit.
The Virgin Mary said that two girls would join her very soon, and Francisco and Jacinta died in 1919 and 1920. But Lucia lived for a very long time and shared her memories with the Catholic Church. So, the first two messages were published in 1929, they spoke of the need to dedicate Russia. without it there will be no peace on Earth, it was held, but the ROC does not recognize either the Fatima miracles or dedication.
As for the third prophecy, it should have been made public in 1960, but for many years the popes refused to do so. Even the capture of a liner in France in 1981 with the requirement to publish the text of the prophecy did not force the Catholic Church to do so.
