A resident of Orlando, Florida (USA), Victoria Toth and her partner Jonothan Pursglov were arrested in July 2018 on suspicion of the murder of Victoria's two-year-old son Jace Martin.
According to investigators, the boyfriend beat the child, and he died three days later from a blunt abdominal injury that caused internal bleeding. In addition, the child was found to be underweight due to malnutrition and numerous bruises all over the body. This meant that Jace had been regularly tortured before.
On that terrible day, July 18, Victoria Toth came home from work and saw her son lying on the floor in a puddle of vomit with no signs of life. She called 911, but it was already too late and the doctors who arrived at the call only stated the death of the baby.
Later it turned out that the child had been feeling bad for at least three days before, during which time Victoria could have called doctors, but she was "afraid of trouble." According to the investigation, Victoria understood that if she did this, her roommate would be jailed. In essence, she just let her son die.
Victoria and Jonothan were imprisoned, but the woman was soon released on bail. Now she continues to support her boyfriend and visit him in prison.
Moreover, she began to talk about the fact that when she was in prison, the ghost of her son Jace began to come to her and console her, assuring her that they "have to go through this."
