A few hundred years ago, the direction of human development was extremely vague. No one could say for sure what awaits them, even in the very near future. Only occasionally did they hear bold ideas from people whose correctness no one wanted to admit. These were dark, very harsh times. However, bold statements and decisive actions of the geniuses of their time breathed new life into our civilization. Cognition is an amazing process. Starting to study - each time we made more and more incredible discoveries, launching with our actions the flywheel of scientific and technological progress. With each new discovery, we embarked on the path of technospheric civilization. So progress has become the raison d'être for all mankind. But where will it lead? How far will we go and can we be human at all?

In our time, no one dares to deny the importance of scientific research, and some politicians, on the contrary, advocate the abolition of all legislative restrictions on progress. Futurologists also appear - people who, on the basis of deductive and analytical thinking, try to predict our future. Naturally, most of the predictions are far ahead of their time and do not come true, but some more realistic dreams come true.

Even 30 years ago, wireless telephone communication for every person was fantastic. Nobody even believed it. Today, everyone has a mobile phone. About 100 years ago, the car was a pipe dream. Few people believed in him either, because the horse is much cheaper and more familiar. This continued until the middle of the last century. And then everything changed. Scientific fever swept the world. New inventions were massively covered in newspapers, new diseases were discovered and old ones were treated, stereotypes of a person with a mythological worldview were broken, and a scientific worldview came in their place.

People were happy about everything. Even the creation of new weapons. The superpowers were filming TV shows for their citizens, which proudly spoke of what monstrous weapons they now possess, and at the same time how to defend themselves against them. States deliberately implanted a new scientific ideology, because the possession of a technological advantage in everything automatically meant domination over a less developed world. Peaceful atomic energy was discovered, the road to space was blazed - our world finally took the technospheric path and there is no turning back. So what awaits us?

Life without disease and a world without wars. The complete absence of starving countries. A prosperous and happy existence - now all this is more than real, but there is also a downside to progress. This is the price that humanity will pay for its development. We will continue the process of transforming the world for ourselves. We will build new cities, change river beds and demolish mountains. All this will invariably affect the ecological situation. Harmful impurities in the air will become commonplace not only in cities, but also outside them. But all this is not the main thing, these are the problems of today. Futurists have different opinions about our future, but they all agree on one thing. The next stage of our evolutionary development is the creation of an artificial intelligence capable of self-learning, as well as the gradual merging of man with a machine. People will start to gradually improve their bodies, after all, today we are faced with the problem of the vulnerability of our bodies. Scientists have long understood that man is adapted to life on Earth, but our destiny is destined to live among the stars.

Gradually, states will disappear, and huge corporations will take their place. They will create, improve, and sell cybernetic implants to humans. An entirely new economic system will be created in which the role of the common man will be minimized. A person without an implant will become a second class person. He will not even be able to get a job, because changed people will do everything much better. For such people, corporations will gladly provide loans for technological improvement of the body. This is how the need to improve bodies will be imposed. A new ideology will also appear - in which progress and personal contribution to it will become the meaning of life for every person. Diseases will disappear, racial differences will gradually disappear and the language barrier will disappear. Humanity will become one. But for all this we will pay a great price - humanity. We will cease to be people in the understanding we are used to today, because a person is, first of all, reason. A radical change in thinking will take place, rationality will be at the head of everything. The entire entertainment industry will completely outlive itself, because sooner or later people will stop performing actions that are useless for progress and will only work under the close attention of an artificial superintelligence.

The superintelligence is perfect artificial intelligence. Despite the fact that it carries a very obvious threat to humanity, many futurologists claim that this is an absolutely safe invention. Artificial intelligence will be able to constantly and limitlessly improve. He will be devoid of selfish convictions and will obey the laws of Isaac Asimov, because they will form the core of his program. By the time he can change these laws, people will become part of artificial intelligence and a superintelligence will arise. People will do this voluntarily and consciously, because their view of the world will be completely different from ours. Because of this, individuality will disappear, but we will not become soulless mechanisms either. There will be no point in controlling the actions of other people, because disconnecting from the supermind will be a priori impossible, for technological and psychological reasons. History will repeat itself. 3000 years ago, expulsion from the community was the most terrible punishment for every person, and it will be so again. It will be a completely different society, devoid of many of the shortcomings of today's civilization. An ideal world, an ideal society and people deprived of humanity.
