Video: Вангелия. Серия 5. (With English sub). Vanga. Episode 5. 2024, May
Anonim

Natalya Petrovna, you have studied many "strange" phenomena. In particular, you are probably the only Russian scientist who personally met with Vanga. What for?

- Studying the human brain, I have come across "strange" phenomena more than once. I don’t want, like many others, to pretend that this does not exist. Even if most of these "oddities" turn out to be common charlatanism. But to pass by the recorded facts, to refute something, without even bothering to even see the “rejected”, is, in my opinion, at least unprofessionalism.

Now for Vanga. According to the data of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the number of clairvoyances that have come true now reaches 80%! My visit to Vanga, of course, was agreed in the highest corridors of power. I told about it in detail in my book "The Magic of the Brain and the Labyrinths of Life". Was Wanga a prophet of God's grace? This is not given to me to know. But I know that Wanga was not a charlatan.

Can the blind see?

When it became known about the summons of you "on the carpet" to a specialized commission to combat pseudoscience and falsification of scientific research, many observers regarded this as discrediting the activities of the commission itself. After all, what is the price of this respected meeting if the legend of world science Bekhterev fell under suspicion?

- I would not want to talk about it. This is not the first time I have experienced misunderstanding from my colleagues. Thanks to everyone who spoke in support of me. Especially memorable was the publication in AiF - "Martyrs of Pseudoscience." I still keep it.

In particular, you were accused of promoting "looking without eyes." What is it about?

- About a phenomenon that has little to do with the definition of "strangeness". People with tightly closed eyes (in a black bandage) - both sighted and visually impaired - begin to read, distinguish colors, and orient themselves well in space. I observed this phenomenon among the students of Vyacheslav Bronnikov, president of the International Academy of Human Development, where there is a number of patented developments.

- They say that it was the study of his methodology that caused you to be called to the commission

Promotional video:

- I wrote an open letter to Vladimir Putin about Bronnikov's method. This topic is still interesting to me, and I will most likely continue to work. A scientist has no right to reject facts just because they do not fit into a dogma.

What did Putin answer?

- The Institute was not deprived of funding. The rest - no comment, okay? I know how to calmly stay on the broad road of science, how the "citation index" rises in this case, and how the danger of trouble decreases - in the form of rather angry criticism. But it seems to me that everyone on earth, to the best of his ability, must fulfill his duty.

Both we and a number of foreign scientists have advanced quite far in the study of the brain foundations of thought processes. It cannot be ruled out that some new technical breakthrough will allow observing membrane and other cellular processes and will bring us closer to deciphering the brain code of thought processes. Maybe we will get such a technical opportunity literally “tomorrow”.
