If you thought that Genesis (Γένεσις) was the only version of the history of our creation and existence, then the ancient texts of different cultures will tell you that we are here long before the events described in the Book of Genesis.
In fact, there are not only many ancient texts that speak of human origins, and are often very similar. Sometimes they give more details and add very intriguing facts to our story.
One of these stories is the 20,000-year-old Sumer tablets, which the archaeologist and writer Zacharia Sitchin has been translating for over 20 years. What he found changed his whole life. Zechariah began translating ancient artifacts 50 years ago, when there were no other translators yet, and the complexity of the Sumerian tablets itself was very high. They were written over a very long period of time, and followed the linguistic changes of the ancient Sumerian language.
However, after 20 years of hard work, Zechariah finally announced the completion of the translation of the Sumerian tablets, which are essentially the autobiography of an alien from a planet called Nibiru. The alien's name was Enki. Interestingly, the history of Enki's autobiography begins long before the appearance of Homo Sapiens as a species. It begins with the story of Enki, who came to Earth along with 20 other aliens in search of a material that allows life to continue on their home planet - gold.
The tablets contain information that the atmosphere of the planet Nibiru required gold dust to reflect ultraviolet radiation, because life on the planet was very complex.
When trying to dig up precious metal on Earth, the Sumerian gods (as they were called then) could not withstand physical problems. It was then that Enki came up with the idea of creating "servants" by mixing his DNA with existing hominids on Earth. The mission to create intelligent humans was given to Ninyursag, Enki's wife. According to the tablets, she was well versed in medical science and knew how to use genetic modification on hominids to become Homo Sapiens.

There are many theories that humans were actually created through "divine" intervention along an evolutionary path that has already been tested. While some call for "divine intervention," others believe that this "intervention" was "alien." Zacharia Sitchin believes that the tablets say a lot about what official science could not explain in the history of the world and our solar system. He believes that the missing link may simply be the result of intervention by the Anunnaki or aliens from Nibiru.
Sitchin also states that the planet Nibiru is Planet 10 in our solar system (excluding Pluto), with a rotation cycle of 10,000 years. He attributes the great flood, described in almost all religions of the world, to the gravitational pull of Nibiru when "she once stood near the Earth" and claims that Nibiru will return.
Nevertheless, many historians oppose Sitchin and the idea of the existence of the Anunnaki aliens, accusing him of inaccurate translation of the tablets.
