In fact, this aqueduct is one of the most famous ancient ones in the world. But many people know only information in general terms, although the object is truly amazing.
The Cumbé Mayo Aqueduct is located 20 kilometers from the small town of Cajamarca. The aqueduct is located at an altitude of 3,300 meters above sea level and, of course, its creation is attributed to the Incas. In principle, everything is as usual.
But now to the aqueduct itself. Its length is 8 kilometers and as I said, in ancient times it was one of the largest in the world, or even the largest, I may be wrong.
I don't know how, but the approximate age of the aqueduct is 3,500 years. Most likely, the age was determined, due to some other finds, but of course, this does not mean anything, nothing more than a version.
Why is this aqueduct so amazing? An unknown civilization just cut out the rock, and did not gouge it out, and after that there were even edges and almost everything was created as if according to calculations.

It would seem that 3,500 years ago there should have been no technology, only primitive tools. However, the aqueduct stands out for its many strange 90-degree right-angle bends.
And they did it not only how, but precisely, and apparently, according to pre-scheduled calculations and, possibly, the project. But it is worth remembering that according to the official version, the aqueduct was allegedly built by the Incas about 3,500 years ago.
In some places of the aqueduct, the rock was simply removed to a depth of 1-1.5 meters, and the most amazing thing is that any obstacle in the path of this aqueduct was simply ignored.
In other words, the aqueduct goes right through the rocks and here I have the most important question. Imagine how such an aqueduct would be created with primitive tools, a person simply hollows out the rock to a certain depth and extent.
However, the question is, how was the aqueduct built through the rocks? Who could work there, because many meters are carved through the rocks, and a person simply cannot get there. That is, it could not have been done by a person with primitive instruments, but then who and how?
Considering about 8 kilometers of simply cut rock with smooth edges and right angles, I have only one version formulated. They did it with some kind of outrageous technologies that simply destroyed the stone in the required volumes, or a technique that simply cut out what was needed and how it was needed.
The most interesting thing for comparison is the petroglyphs. In which I no longer doubt that the Incas left them, but the creation of the aqueduct clearly does not belong to them.
The meaning of the petroglyphs is still unknown, but you can see how they were somehow somehow “picked” in the stone. Really, for the Incas, who allegedly simply cut 8 kilometers of rock through the rocks, it was impossible to make clear images on the stones?
Well, in the end, I would like to say that the need for an aqueduct in those places is generally not clear to anyone. As far as we know, water was not particularly needed there, but it was created, but for what it is unknown.
I can assume that the aqueduct is not an aqueduct at all and was created for other purposes. Or it is more than 10,000 years old, and just then, in those places cities, settlements and anything else could exist. And obviously, a civilization that even surpassed ours in terms of development. Since such an aqueduct will now be either impossible to create, or the most advanced technologies will have to be used. And that's all.
