While exploring its planet and near-earth space, mankind still has a vague idea of what the world ocean can conceal. Meanwhile, covering more than half of the planet, the ocean constantly throws up many mysteries to people.
Quakers
In the middle of the last century, when the submarine fleet became more sophisticated, and the equipment became more sensitive, submariners periodically began to encounter a strange phenomenon. When performing combat missions at great depths, the radars constantly recorded strange signals, similar to croaking. They were issued by certain objects that appeared next to the submarines and sometimes accompanied them for a long time. At the same time, objects could maneuver around ships at an incredible speed, disappear from radars and reappear on them, as if playing with people. All attempts to catch up or somehow study the mysterious "Quakers", as they came to be called, have led nowhere. The problem of unidentified underwater signals worried not only Soviet, but also American submariners, as the Quakers pursued them too.
In the USSR, a special group was organized, which was tasked with investigating this phenomenon, as well as the degree of its danger to the submarine fleet. For this purpose, specialists of various profiles were involved, including employees of the hydroacoustic institute. This group collected a lot of information, but after a while it was abruptly closed, and all the results were classified and disappeared without a trace in the archives of the Navy.
Today, there are several versions as to who the mysterious Quakers can be. Some military are of the opinion that strange signals are emitted by the latest intelligence apparatus of foreign states. There are suggestions that Quakers are intelligent inhabitants of the deep sea who study human devices. At the same time, opinions differ as to what makes croaking sounds - man-made devices of sea inhabitants, or themselves. Some researchers put forward a fantastic version that intelligent inhabitants may not have a physical body at all, but represent something in the form of local energy fields.
Other hypotheses sound less exotic - according to them, croaking sounds that frighten submariners can be made by minke whales, or species of giant squid, the remains of which are occasionally found on the coasts of Australia. But with this version some features of the Quakers do not fit, in particular, their very high speed of movement in water and maneuvers impossible for living organisms.
For the entire time of observing this phenomenon, the Quakers did not show aggression towards people, however, the very fact that secret missions become known to someone incomprehensible is very unnerving for submarine commanders. In addition, the level of threat posed by the Quakers is still unknown. Therefore, the phenomenon requires special attention.

Glow in the ocean and the remains of cities underwater
The ocean is fraught with many other mysteries. Particularly noteworthy are the ancient ruins of man-made structures found in many at the bottom in different places. The most famous are the Yonaguni pyramids, which are located near the Japanese island of the same name. At first, skeptics argued that these structures were nothing more than a simple play of nature, but in the course of further research, the artificial nature of these monumental remains was confirmed. Researchers argue over who could have built these majestic pyramids. In this, the opinions of scientists differ - some are inclined to think that these were ordinary people who lived there when this region was not flooded with water. There is also an opinion that the pyramids were erected by intelligent inhabitants of the underwater depths. Legends about them can be found among different peoples who speak ofthat the ocean was inhabited by a civilization of intelligent beings who taught people crafts and could go on land for a while. But then gradually contacts between people and inhabitants of the ocean depths gradually faded away for unknown reasons.
The ocean depths also hide many other mysterious structures. Bimini Road is one such structure, which is a strip of stones. This structure is also called the Bimini wall, as it lies much higher than the rest of the ocean floor. In some places you can even walk along it, since the thickness of the water layer does not exceed half a meter. At the same time, it is clearly seen that the stones lining the road are artificially hewn and fitted to each other. The builders of this underwater road are still unknown.
There are other ocean phenomena, for example, underwater glow, which cannot be explained in mainstream science. All of them suggest that the depths of the ocean hide some unknown form of life, the level of development of which exceeds the human level. But for some reason, these creatures do not want to get in touch with people. This topic requires further research, which, quite possibly, in the future will confirm this hypothesis.
