Former captain of the USSR Air Force, Zaporozhets Alexander Bezgreshny in long-range aviation, as an electronic warfare operator, served 26 years. Three times, as he himself specified, he "went" to China - to take air after the atomic explosions carried out by the Chinese, and many times - to the Pacific and Arctic oceans, where the crew of his strategic bomber-missile carrier Tu-95K hunted for American aircraft carriers. Alexander Ivanovich once told me about the emergency in the air, which he witnessed.

By the way, whoever saw the 95th "carcass" in the sky - this 46-meter winged colossus, and especially its roaring takeoff and passage over you, will agree with my impressions: the spectacle is not for the faint of heart. I saw these planes when I lived in the Far East, where three regiments of naval aviation were based at one time. According to rumors, in the event of war, each of these regiments [and they also had Tu-95 bombers in service] had to destroy one American aircraft carrier - one of those that permanently stayed in the Pacific Ocean. These were, if my memory serves me, the aircraft carriers "Enterprise", "Nimitz" and "Midway". I saw a huge picture of one of these aircraft carriers at the headquarters of such a regiment. At the same time, the officer accompanying me proudly announced: our, they say, pilots removed him from 300 meters. Maybe he lied)

However, it's time to listen to Air Force Captain Alexander Bezgreshny. As he himself explained, his task in flight was to find and fix the work of all radio stations - on the ground, in the sky, on the water. And the crew of the Tu-95K consisted of nine people who went on the flight … it's hard to believe it! - for 32 hours and 30 minutes, climbing from Semipalatinsk, where a Zaporozhets air unit was based 42 kilometers from the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site, to Canada and America - through the North Pole.

- At the end of December 1973, more precisely - on the 23rd, - Alexander Ivanovich began a story about anomalies in the air, - we flew in the area of Novaya Zemlya. The commander was Major Belov - from ours, from the Cossacks. A real officer and a real commander! Deep night overboard. And then the navigator reports: “An incomprehensible object has appeared on the left. The distance is two kilometers.”

- What did he look like?

- The usual rectangle resembled. Its length was 50 meters, height - four, width - seven meters. We even saw the edges clearly. The object was walking parallel to our course

- What color?

- Did you see the metal cooling? Our companion had a dark yellow color.

Promotional video:

- It turns out that a huge piece of rectangular metal was flying next to you?

- Exactly! Naturally, all at once clung to the window - they began to look at the flying curiosity.

- Was her arrival reported to the ground?

- No, but they made an entry in the logbook: they found, they say, at such and such a time an unidentified object of such and such a shape.

- How long did he accompany you?

- Seven minutes. After that, without any maneuver, turning sharply to the left, he instantly disappeared. Having developed tremendous speed.

- At what height did the story you told happen?

- We walked along the international line at an altitude of 11,250 meters at a speed of 820 kilometers per hour.

- Your feelings are interesting, Alexander Ivanovich.

- Curiosity gripped everyone!

- Was it not an optical illusion?

- One sight can deceive - I agree. But there were nine people on the plane! And everyone followed the flight of the object. In the logbook they drew what he looked like.

- And what was the reaction on earth to your report?

- The senior navigator of the division was categorical: “Forget about seeing a UFO!” But he was! - I try to object. "Consider that you did not report to me about him!" - the navigator finished the discussion.

- Two years later, - after a short thought, my interlocutor gathered his thoughts, - I served in a crew commanded by an officer named Nekrasov. An excellent pilot and a very decent person! Once we returned from the next assignment - also in the middle of the night, and suddenly we received a message from the stern of the radio operator: “On the left, an incomprehensible ball is catching up with us.” And exactly: our plane caught up with a strange object and went with us on a parallel course. As if gazing with invisible eyes and listening with invisible ears. Nothing stood out on the ball: no windows, no antennas! We observed a flat surface.

- Was the big ball and how far from you was it?

- Object diameter - about 20 meters, color - gray. The distance to it is one and a half kilometers. And the commander suggests: "Let's get closer!" Well, he took a little to the left. What happened then - we didn't really understand: it was as if a ball bristled, or something - increased in size … sort of opened the shields. And at that moment we were seized by an incredible, indescribable fear! Downright we all weighed down from him … You understand, with many in flight had to deal with during the years of service - even survived the fire. It was unpleasant then - it is a fact, but such a fear as when meeting a ball, horror paralyzing the mind, I have never experienced in my life. And I do not advise anyone to experience this.

- How did the ball behave after your maneuver?

- Gone! How he disappeared into the night.

- Recorded his appearance in the logbook?

- They did not, since on earth we were forbidden to mention UFOs.

- Did you hear about something similar from other pilots?

- More than once later, colleagues told me that when meeting with some flying objects, a wave of fear was unexpectedly covered. But not everyone dared to admit it - it was a shame.
