Journalist Andrei Guselnikov said on the pages of Ura. Ru the following: “The special correspondent of Komsomolskaya Pravda Natalya Varsegova said in more detail about what the prosecutor will tell you, speaking at the annual Dyatlov conference held on February 2 in Yekaterinburg. “Andrei Kuryakov will show new documents, tell why the case was started on February 6, why there is no second criminal case, show the minutes of the city committee meetings - all this will be presented to the public,” Varsegova said. Prosecutors will show archival documents in Yekaterinburg on the case of the death of the Dyatlov group. Hurray.ru. February 2, 2019. February 4, a press conference will be held in Yekaterinburg, during which representatives of the prosecutor's office will talk about the first results obtained during the "large-scale check" on the fact of the death of tourists from a group led by Igor Dyatlov, which took place on February 2, 1959 in the mountains in the Northern Urals. The upcoming conference "URA. RU" was reported in the House of Journalists. "The head of the department for supervising the implementation of federal legislation of the prosecutor's office of the Sverdlovsk region, Andrei Kuryakov, will talk about the inspection carried out by the prosecutor's office, and will also present archival materials refuting the conspiracy theories of the events on Mount Otorten in the city of Ivdel," the announcement says.

And although I am in no way connected with the secrets of the prosecutor's office, I am not part of more than one so-called. woodpecker community, but I have all these documents. I'm not interested in waiting until Monday. So I'll just publish everything. Well, along the way I will give a very brief commentary.

Documents from a secret meeting in the regional committee of the CPSU of the Sverdlovsk region. For the young citizens of the new Russia, I will explain that during the communist rule, the party bodies were the main governing and controlling units in the USSR. It was they who decided who could be given privileges, and who needed to be quickly "wiped off into camp dust." The fact that the tourists were killed did not solve anything by itself. For the party functionaries, it was only important that the relatives of the tourists sent a telegram to Nikita Sergeevich Khrushchev, who was the head of state in those years. I will give this telegram in this article, naturally its original scan. And here the main part of the drama began. Prosecutors and investigators began to show miracles of deduction and service zeal. Especially after they learned that the case arose under the direct control of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the RSFSR, Comrade Stakhanov. I will also publish this document here.

The minutes of the meetings of the regional committee of the CPSU themselves are not interesting. Officials (as is customary at all times) imitate work and interest. Along the way, they are looking for "scapegoats". They find those. One of them is Leo Gordo. The comrade was in charge of the tourist section at UPI. It is clear that he did it badly and without patriotic enthusiasm. I will publish it too. By the way, I will note the fact that in 1938 Lev was the commandant of the transfer point of the NKVD administration. Then he came under investigation (was he preparing to join the general mass of enemies of the people?). But, apparently, he was acquitted. The war began as an assistant platoon commander of the 262th Construction Engineering Battalion of the 54th Army. Was a sapper. Interestingly, on this basis he met Semyon Zolotarev? Then he became a quartermaster and commanded a food warehouse. He was noted, so to speak, on the most dangerous sector of the front. In 1959 he was fired from his job for the collapse of tourism, and in his personal file he received a severe reprimand. On this regional committee of repression and finished. Well, of course, no one began to change the system itself. They were not up to that. On the nose they had another party congress. And comrade Khrushchev, obviously, has long lost interest in the dead tourists.

It is these documents (100% sure) that the prosecutor's office will show. I note that today they can still be found on the net. The main thing is to know exactly where they stayed. Prosecutors, of course, do not know this, so they decided to surprise all of us on Monday. As the saying goes: “With great initiative you! Dear comrade prosecutors!"

By the way, I am delighted that the statesmen decided to reveal to us all the secrets of the Dyatlov Pass. But I strongly doubt that anything worthwhile will come of this venture. This tangled story has no chance, as I think.
