In the Scottish old estate of Overtone, which is located a few kilometers northwest of the city of Glazko, there is a stone arched bridge over a small river, built in the late 19th century.
Until the middle of the next century, the bridge was the most ordinary, and there was nothing strange about it. But, in the 50s of the XX century, completely inexplicable events began to take place here - dogs began to regularly jump from one of its niches, most of which were smashed to death, since the height of the bridge is 15 meters.

About once a month, a variety of dogs repeated the fate of their unfortunate predecessors. Of course, the appearance of a mystical legend was not long in coming. After the death of hundreds of dogs, the bridge began to be called the "quadruped killer."

Local residents began to tell that two ghosts were pushing the dogs to death - the spirit of the child, who was thrown from this very place by his own father, and the father himself, who repented and jumped after the child.
However, scientists have put forward their own version of the origin of the strange phenomenon. The fact is that rodents live under the bridge, and dogs, smelling their smell, just follow the hunting instinct. This position is absurd, since four-legged friends have excellent intelligence and will not indulge in madness, even at the behest of the call of blood. The above theory also fails to explain repetitive jumps, which are contrary to self-preservation instinct.
Therefore, those who believe in anomalous phenomena suggest that the Overtone Bridge may be a kind of transition to the otherworldly worlds, and dogs pay with their lives for excessive curiosity. Others say that the small river under the bridge is of greater importance and the water in it is "fed" with dog blood.
