The majority of Russians are not interested in the eagle's lack of imperial insignia on money. They are much more concerned about getting these coins, no matter which eagle. And better not with a monstrous two-headed bird, but with American presidents - a much more solid currency.
However, a curious minority wondered about the plucking of the eagle on the coins of the Russian Federation. But there was no official explanation. Therefore, people held different opinions according to their political theories. Some considered the discrepancy between the eagles generally insignificant, others pointed out that this was a sign of the colonial position of Russia.

In 2016, an important event took place quietly. The eagle was changed on the money of the Russian Federation. Now, instead of the lowered feathered Provisional Government, the imperial Russian eagle with crowns and attributes of power began to be depicted on coins and banknotes.
