1956 and 1957 were distinguished by a very large number of observations and contacts with aliens in various regions of the Earth. Independent, officially registered testimonies sometimes coincide surprisingly even in details. The overall picture, made up of pieces, is impressive in its scope.

1956 year

February 20th. France Paris. For four hours, ten Orly airport radar operators watched strange maneuvers by UFOs twice the size of a large aircraft on their screens. At first, the object was noticed 50 kilometers southeast of the airport, then it quickly flew north and hung there for a while, and then approached the mail plane, but as soon as the Swissair-103 from London entered the airport area from the west, it took off sharply to the west and for 40 seconds accompanied the landing aircraft. Aircraft crews described UFOs as a red glowing ball, which at times had a dark, clear outline. At the moment of jerks, the speed of an unidentified object for those times was simply fantastic - about 2400 kilometers per hour. Fighters were called in to intercept, however, without waiting for their attack, he suddenly disappeared.

April 24. Great Britain. Completed a secret government investigation into UFO issues since 1950. A spokesman for the Royal Air Force told the press that his results would not be made public, "so as not to generate counterversions and not divulge secrets of national importance." Therefore, we have only indirect information. Thus, Air Marshal Lord Dowding, who led the "Battle of England" in 1940, again (after his famous statement on July 11, 1954) gave a public lecture in 1956, where, in particular, he stated that the inhabitants of UFOs are immortal, they can become invisible to the human eye, take on human form and completely unnoticed to be and work among us.

June 5. Belgium, Namur. A UFO flying in the sky with a smoke tail was photographed by F. Gilbert Muliedermans. As a result of the analysis, the photo was found to be genuine and its publication was authorized.

July 2. United States, Attica (Indiana). Two Starfighter aircraft from 27th Squadron, armed with missiles, are sent to intercept an unidentified object. During the attack, the closest fighter was struck by pulses of beam weapons fired from a UFO. The pilot and the radar operator parachuted out of the burning plane.

July 22. USA, California. The twin-engine S-131D ("Conver") aircraft, piloted by Air Force Major Mervyn Stenvers, received a strong blow from the right and from above at an altitude of 5 kilometers. The plane went into a dive and fell for almost 2 kilometers. With difficulty leveling it, the pilot radioed that he was struck by a "flying saucer" and asked for permission to make an emergency landing at Baker Field. In the press, photographs of the heavily damaged tail section, bent downward by a strong blow, were accompanied by the statement of an Air Force representative: “Obviously, something hit the plane from above. We have no idea what it was. " During the incident, one of the crew members was wounded …

The head of the US Air Force Project Blue Book Edward Ruppelt published some of the information he has in the book "Reports on Unidentified Flying Objects", which still remains one of the best reference books on this issue and makes it clear that the main task of the unclassified project "Blue Book, organized at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in 1952, to educate the public that UFOs are nothing more than natural phenomena or misinterpreted known objects.

Serious UFO research in the US Air Force, according to official information, in 1956 was curtailed with the same motivation: UFOs are natural phenomena. The measures taken by the special services for the covert control and management of the activities of public UFO groups also yielded results. All the energy of these initially research groups was directed towards the written war with the US Air Force and theoretical disputes among themselves. In the camp of American UFO enthusiasts, confusion and mutual abuse began. Books with pseudoscientific concepts and amateur interpretations appeared on sale, taking research even further aside …

THE USSR. From the answer of the flag navigator of polar aviation V. I. Akkuratov at the request of the Minister of Civil Aviation E. A. Loginov about UFO sightings in the Arctic: “In 1956, while making strategic ice reconnaissance on a TU-104 aircraft with the commander of the ship, Comrade Bakhtin, near Cape Juzep (Greenland), emerging from the clouds, we suddenly saw that from the left side parallel to our course (180 degrees) some kind of incomprehensible aircraft is moving, in shape resembling a large pearl-colored lentil with wave-like pulsating edges.

Knowing that there are American airbases (North, Thule) in the north of Greenland, we initially decided that it was an American aircraft of unknown design, and, not wanting to meet with it, we went back into the clouds. After 40 minutes of flight along the course of about. The bearish cloudiness suddenly ended, it was clear ahead, and we again noticed the same unknown vehicle on the port side.

Having decided to consider in more detail what it is, we abruptly changed course and went to rapprochement, informing the base (Amderma) about our intention and its purpose. In response to the change in course, the unknown aircraft also changed course and went in parallel at a speed equal to ours. After 15-18 minutes of flight, the unknown device abruptly changed course, overtook us and went up at lightning speed, disappearing into the blue sky. We did not find any antennas, wings, superstructures or portholes on this disk. Neither the exhaust of gas jets nor the contrail was noticed, and the speed of its escape was so high that this phenomenon seemed somehow supernatural …

In addition to these facts of encounters with UFOs, there are others … But since at one time in our press there was a message that these are just light effects that have nothing to do with aircraft, the flight crew, noticing such phenomena, ceased to be interested in them, so that legends about "flying saucers" do not cause ridicule of comrades."

1957 year

9th of March. USA, Florida. At 0330 hours, 150 miles east of Jacksonville, the Douglas 6A (Flight 257 to Puerto Rico), piloted by Captain Matthew Van Winkle, undertook an abrupt maneuver to avoid collision with an unknown object. The object was a ball with a glowing greenish-white center and a sparkling outer ring. Several passengers were injured.

May 3rd. France. Two automatic cameras of the astronomer Roger Rigollet, designed to register meteors, independently registered the appearance and disappearance of an unknown luminous object, which was emitting rays of light, high in the sky. The marks from it were fundamentally different from the marks of meteors, planes or balloons, which aroused great interest among scientists. The UFO recording, obtained by two automatic cameras at once, deserves special attention also because it removes any doubt about the reality of this phenomenon. In addition, it documents the conventional belief that "astronomers do not see any UFOs". This case was reported in a number of scientific publications, as well as in the April 1958 issue of the French journal Science and Life.

Summer. Brazil. On a clear sunny day, a disc-shaped UFO exploded near Ubaytaba Beach. Fishermen and locals first noticed a shiny disc flying over the ocean at great speed. Suddenly, he began to fall into the ocean, touched the water, rose again 100 meters, swayed, covered in flames and exploded, scattering like fireworks into thousands of bright pieces. Most of the wreckage ended up in the ocean, but some of it fell on the beach, where it was picked up by local residents. The wreckage looked like rough paper. Thorough chemical, metallographic and microscopic analysis showed that they consist of pure magnesium of a crystalline structure, which cannot be obtained under terrestrial conditions. A few years later, Dow Chemical discovered a small admixture of strontium in the fragments, which is not present in ordinary magnesium. And 10 years later, as a result of an analysis carried out by the Department of Advanced Materials of the Material Research Corporation, it was concluded that the material was made by the method of directed growth of metals, which in 1957 was not yet known. Significantly, this case is listed in the Encyclopedia Britannica, which does not publish unverified facts.

July. Brazil. The famous lawyer, Professor João Freitas de Caimares, who served in the justice authorities in San Sebastian, unexpectedly turned out to be a guest of the "flying saucer". Shocked by what had happened, he was silent for half a year about what had happened, but could not stand it and told his friend, Professor Lincoln Feliciano, about everything. On one of the gloomy cold July evenings (let's not forget that it is winter in Brazil), when he was wandering alone along the coast of Bela Island, a "pot-bellied car" emerged from under the water and headed towards the shore. Two unknown persons got out of the car, more than 175 centimeters tall, with long blond hair, in green overalls that fit the body. They gestured for Kaimares to climb the ladder to the apparatus, which he did. As the car took off, Caimares was surprised to see water splashing behind the window. He was telepathically explained that water is formed due to the rotation of the ship. For about forty minutes they flew in the stratosphere. The professor tried to ask where the strangers came from, but he was only shown a drawing resembling a star map. After some time, Kaymares was dropped off at the same place where he had been taken.

July 7. Italy. A resident of Rome, Galli, said that on the outskirts of the capital, unknown people invited him to a saucer-shaped car, which then took off and soon approached a huge cigar-shaped object more than 600 meters long hanging in space. Like other flying devices like her, the saucer flew inside through one of the numerous ports. Coming out of it, Gally found himself in a huge room. “There were at least 400-500 people … standing or walking around the room,” he recalled. He was shown the ship, resting places, library, control panels and the commander's salon. Four hours later, Galli was taken back to Rome.

July 17th. USA. On Flight 655 en route from Dallas to Los Angeles, a plane piloted by Captain E. Bachner, 100 miles east of El Paso, Texas, barely dodged an object "at least the size of a B-47." Two passengers were slightly injured and went to the hospital after landing. According to the air services, no other aircraft were nearby at that time.

On the same day, an American reconnaissance aircraft RB-47, equipped with special electronic equipment, during an hour and a half flight over the states of Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma was accompanied by a UFO, which was observed visually and with instruments. It is characteristic that the radars, which recorded the object from all directions, could not track its intermediate movements. Onboard electronic reconnaissance equipment ELINT recorded the parameters of the object's radiation - periodic (600 pulses per second) radiation at a frequency of 3000 MHz.

September 7. England, Cheshire. A resident of the city of Gankon, James Cook, reported that at 2 hours 15 minutes at night, he noticed a strange luminous object in the sky. Changing color constantly, he landed a few feet from Cook. A voice from the apparatus invited me to come inside. Cook didn’t mind. He was changed into a plastic jumpsuit and transferred to another object that landed nearby, where there were about two dozen very tall people. They explained that they came from another galaxy, from the planet Zomdik, and that one of the reasons for their arrival is the imbalance in the Universe due to the unreasonable behavior of people on our planet. A few hours later, Cook was dropped off at the same place where he was taken on board. When leaving the apparatus, he, despite the warning, did not have time to let go of the handrail and at the moment of contact with the wet ground received something like an electric shock and a burn to his hand. Cook immediately reported this incredible story to local authorities.

The 4th of October. Japan. After the flight of the UFO, it was possible to collect and save samples of the so-called "angel hair". This whitish-silk substance with fibers up to 10 centimeters long is sometimes found on the ground, trees, wires after UFO sightings. The "angel hair" persists for a very short time: if not placed in an airtight vessel, they quickly evaporate. Their composition is known: boron, silicon, calcium, magnesium, but the nature of their origin is still not clear. It is suggested that these are slags thrown out by UFOs in flight …

1957 year. USA, Edwards Air Force Base. Military operators are urgently dispatched to film the wrecked alien ship. The legend of American astronautics, Air Force Colonel Gordon Cooper, who subsequently visited space more than once (May 1963 - "Mercury-9", August 1965 - Gemini-5 "), and in 1957 - a 30-year-old test pilot at the base BBC Edwards, recalls: "I was present and then saw the footage. I remember how the ship was, how it sprawled on the bottom of a dry lake. The hull, about nine meters in diameter, cracked in half. The wreckage scattered everywhere was from the thinnest unknown an alloy similar to iron: thin as paper, soft and flexible like rubber, but at the same time it was impossible to saw or cut. And if it was twisted into a tube or folded several times, it immediately straightened, acquiring its original shape. It was absolutely clear that such an alloy does not exist on Earth …"

the 3rd of November. THE USSR. The first animal, the dog Laika, was launched into space on Sputnik-2. The Venezuelan scientist L. Corrales, photographing the flight of this satellite, discovered some luminous object flying next to him, which, having made a turn, again approached the satellite.

November 4th. Brazil, Rio de Janeiro. At about two o'clock in the morning, two sentries of Fort Itaipu, located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, noticed a bright light high in the sky, descending directly on them. At an altitude of about 50 meters, he stopped, and the sentries saw a round object with a diameter of about 30 meters. The UFO made a steady hum, and its orange glow enveloped the entire fort. Suddenly, a strong wave of heat hit the people. They screamed in pain and woke up the garrison. With tremendous speed, the UFO sped away. During this "visit" in the fort, the electric light went out, the emergency lighting went out of order, and the telephone connection completely failed. Sentinels with first degree burns were sent to the Rio de Janeiro hospital. After a thorough photogrammetric study, the highest military ranks and institutions of Brazil officially confirmed the truth of the incident. Finding no explanation for what had happened, the Brazilian authorities turned to the American government for help. The originals of the negatives were sent to the Pentagon through the US military attaché in Brazil, Colonel Hughes. The command of the Brazilian army ordered to keep all information about what happened in secret.

November 5. USA. 5 hours 10 minutes in the morning. The commander of the military boat "Sebago" Waring said that the onboard radar recorded an unknown object flying on a course parallel to the boat. After 11 minutes, four crew members (Lieutenants Donald Refer and Wayne Scotley, helmsman Kennot Smith, radio operator Thomas Kirk) saw it with their own eyes. The luminous round object in flight easily maneuvered and stopped abruptly. Its flight qualities, according to the testimony of the crew, were clearly higher than those of the aircraft known to them.

November 6. USA, Mississippi. Driving near House, 48-year-old truck driver Melvan Stevens saw an egg-shaped object swiftly descending from the sky at 7:25 in the morning and landing on the highway in front of the truck. Two men and one woman emerged from the facility, wearing gray overalls. They were short (about 135 cm) with puffy white-skinned faces. One of the men tried to shake the driver's hand. The strangers wanted to say something in swift language, but after several unsuccessful attempts to explain themselves, they returned to their ship and flew away.

November 6. USA, California. Not far from Playa del Rey on the Vista del Mar highway, three cars simultaneously stopped their engines. Drivers Richard Kehoy, Ronald Bark and Joe Thomas got out of their cars to inspect the engines, and saw a strange egg-shaped object on the shore. From it emerged two unknown persons about 165 centimeters tall, dressed in leather trousers and woolen sweaters. The strangers, whose faces had a strange yellow-green tint, asked a few meaningless questions in English ("what time is it?", "Who are you?", "Where are you going?"), Returned to their car and flew away. After that, the car motors started working again.

November 6. USA, Ohio. Alden Moore observed a landing UFO 30 miles east of Cleveland for 20 minutes. The military and scientists who left for the landing site with the help of a Geiger counter recorded an increased (10 times more than normal) radiation background. Alden Moore, many years later, said that he met in Washington with "high officials", who strictly warned him about the non-disclosure of this case.

November 7. Australia. The staff of the Astronomical Observatory on Mount Stromlo, Professor Przybylski and two of his colleagues, at three o'clock in the afternoon, observed the passage of a bright red object in the sky for two minutes. Its speed was too low for a meteorite. The staff of the observatory had never seen anything like it.

November 8. France, Toulouse. At 18:45, an unknown bright orange circular object with a dome made a loop in the sky and departed. It was observed by four groups of independent witnesses, including observatory staff and amateur astronomers.

November 18th. At three o'clock in the afternoon near the hearth on the second floor of the house of 27-year-old Sitnia Appleton, a humanoid creature in tight-fitting clothes materialized with a slight whistle. In a short mental conversation, it announced that it had come "from another world in search of titism." After the disappearance of the alien, Sitnia found that all the things that were near him had aged dramatically, and the newspapers lying on the floor had turned very yellow.

December. Brazil, state of Mato Grosso. On the way to the Paraguayan border, the driver and passengers of the car met with two hot balls about 5 meters in diameter. The balls, surrounded by rotating metal rings, swayed towards them on both sides of the road. Approaching, one ball hovered a meter above the road, and the other began to circle above the car, periodically emitting light beams. Attempts by the driver at high speed or abruptly stopping to break away from the balls were unsuccessful: they chased the car for two hours. Only near the city of Ponta Poran, after waiting for the car to refuel, the balloons flew away …

Investigating such a paranormal and at the same time quite real phenomenon like a UFO, scientists from different countries are trying to find theoretical explanations for it from the standpoint of fundamental sciences.

USA. Princeton scientists Hugh Everett and John Wheeler have proposed a "many-worlds interpretation" of quantum mechanics. In accordance with this concept, the universe is continuously forking into alternative realities. In other words, there are worlds outside our space-time, from where UFOs can "fly" to Earth.
