Initiated people know that there is a secret door in the human mind. Most people die without having discovered it. And that's not bad. After all, at all times those hungry for power over human minds tried to penetrate this door, believing that it was there that there was a button, by pressing which a person could be made a robot.

OPAL MASSMER

In the 18th century, the doctor of medicine at the University of Vienna, Franz-Anton Messmer, fascinated by secret esoteric teachings, began to propagate his universal theory of healing. Its essence boiled down to the fact that "the disease is caused by an uneven distribution of fluid in the human body." In order to "redistribute" the fluid, he proposed to influence the patient with magnetic passes.

The theory was followed by practical exercises, and Messmer's success in healing was amazing. The only pity is that he was not allowed to explore "animal magnetism" deeper. The doctor's know-how became the subject of gossip and scandals: male magnetizers often immersed women in a somnambulistic state, and they did such that their husbands were then simply forced to demand a trial against the magnetizers.

As a result, Messmer fled, and his teachings were declared dangerous to morals. Nevertheless, he was the first to publicly declare that a person can be instilled in thoughts quite harmlessly, without witchcraft.

HYPNOSIS

A hundred years later, the term "animal magnetism" was discarded, and was replaced by the term "hypnosis" - from the Greek "sleep". One of the founders of the therapeutic use of hypnosis, Braid, proposed fixing the patient's gaze on a shiny surface instead of the famous passes that were used in magnetism.

Since that time, the word "hypnosis" has become associated with medicine. And certified doctors began to deal with it.

They put the patient into a trance, he plunged into himself and completely or partially fenced off from the outside world. Whether a person was in a trance or not, it was noticeable by a number of signs: the patient's pupils dilated, the gaze was directed to one point, breathing became less frequent, the jaw dropped, the face relaxed, there was no swallowing.

By the way, trance can be conventionally divided into several categories.

Light - in which a person is so absorbed, for example, watching a movie, that he does not notice anything or anyone around. At the same time, he reacts to external stimuli - stimuli, partially hears what is being said around. Light trance states are similar to shallow sleep or naps.

The average trance state is characterized by muscle tension, the so-called waxy flexibility: for example, a person in this state is placed on the backs of two chairs, but he does not fall. Self-control works here, and the state can be compared to waking up from sleep, when a person is not fully asleep, but also not fully awake - such a dream in reality.

In a deep state of trance, the behavior of a person does not look very different from the usual one - only he can mistake an apple proposed by a hypnotist for a potato, and a real pistol for a toy. It is this state that is sung in detective stories about hypnotists, when with just one glance a person is forced to kill, and then he comes to his senses and does not remember anything.

With the onset of the deepest, so-called paradoxical phase of inhibition, when weak stimuli (for example, a word) act more efficiently than strong ones (for example, pain), a high suggestibility is observed. So the deeper the trance state, the higher the person's ability to suggest.

But by the way, in hypnosis treatment, the healing effect does not depend on the depth of the trance. The most important thing here is simply to convince the patient that he is healthy.

HOW TO INSULATE A MAN THAT …

In order for a person to start acting according to the program you need, you first need to establish contact with him - join him. To do this, you need to communicate with your counterpart without crossing or squeezing your hands, imperceptibly trying to copy his manner of speaking, gestures and breathing, but so that he does not notice it. After all, we all love people who are like us very much - unconsciously, if I may say so, your partner will become very sympathetic to you. And if this happened, then he is ready for suggestion.

The next step is to pull the situation over to yourself. When making this or that gesture, pay attention to whether the partner will repeat it after you. If yes, the connection has occurred. If not, you are losing the initiative. Experience shows that if the connection did not happen within the first five minutes of communication, it is useless to try further.

Further - an introduction to a trance. A trance triggers any unexpected (possibly shocking) action, rhythmically repetitive movements or sounds: drumming, head shaking, smacking, rubbing hands, concentric movements on the table or knee. It is best if these movements are perceived by peripheral vision.

So, if you enter the center of a psychotherapist and see that on the sides of his table there are shiny, swaying with a uniform sound "perpetual motion machines", you should know that the owner of the office seeks to lull the patients. The same effect is performed by fountains, water and light mills-lanterns. Rhythmically repetitive monotonous speech can also cause a trance.

SIGN OF CONSENT

Every person has an inner censor who resists external influences. For example, when you agree with someone verbally, this does not mean at all that you really agree with the arguments of the other person - at this moment you can think whatever you want to yourself. So this internal censor can be safely put to sleep. It is believed that if the number of your agreements with your partner is less than or equal to four, you keep your opinion, but then you get tired and the fifth information is accepted by your brain as your own.

For example:

"It's a good weather today?" - "Yes".

"We are going to the shop?" - "Yes".

"Are we walking on a flat road?" - "Yes".

"Are we going to the grocery store?" - "Yes".

"You value me very, very much and will raise the salary."

The answer to the last phrase would be … yes, anyway.

This method is called 4+: its four consents - one is your setting. Further, the formulas 3 + 2 are acceptable, that is, three of his or her forced consent (your patronymic is Fedorovna, your cat's name is Masha, you love summer), then - two phrases that you need. The next step in this scheme is 2 + 3, then 1 + 4, and then, if you managed to carry out the whole process - from 4 + 1 to 1 + 4 - you can say whatever you want - the person is yours.

If spoken suggestion seems too difficult for you, try looking into the eyes of the interlocutor and imagine that the person is experiencing the state you need. If you want him to be afraid of you - try to experience fear yourself; want him to want to eat, make yourself feel hungry.

ZOMBIES OF THE XXI CENTURY

Is it possible to defend against suggestion if your opponent is a professional and you are not? Hardly. But it is also impossible to inspire a person with something that contradicts his personal attitudes.

It should be noted that in a trance state, a person, especially with an unstable psyche, can behave unpredictably: you can expect anything from him - from falling into a state of childhood to uncontrollable outbursts of rage.

Stable people who are not engaged in intellectual work give in to suggestion more easily. Hysterical personalities and creative people - poets, artists and artists - are easily suggested, but with them the program conceived by the hypnotist almost always fails. So it is better to hypnotize calm people, not too smart and quite gullible.

However, the current XXI century has stepped far beyond the boundaries of both "animal magnetism" and hypnosis. So many new zombie technologies have accumulated in the world by now that one famous French psychoanalyst declared 10 years ago: "Hypnosis is dead!" - reflecting the opinion of many of his colleagues.
