The promotion of this "musician" was greatly facilitated by the mobile operator Megafon, who made him the face of his company in a promo video, as well as the program "Evening Urgant" on First. Many, including Charlotte's peers, believe that by bringing such a character into a wide public space, our showbiz has once again “punched the bottom”.
This young Samara talent not only sings, but also composes "music" and lyrics to it. Such, for example: "I ha-achu quickly get drunk, have fun, quickly forget." Or like this: "The mood is pink, I want to smell your hair …"; "I liked you, I subscribed to Insta, the whole phone, the whole screen in your face." All this mura is sung with silly intonations, disgusting distortion of the Russian language, interspersed with smacking, groans and muttering.

The voice of the new star is also original, like the surname. Siren-like falsetto of young Vitas or early meowing "with a clothespin on the nose" of Presnyakov Jr. - this is in comparison with a la teenage bleating of Charlotte - the pinnacle of Russian pop vocal. What is Presnyakov, even the primitive songs of the weak-voiced Stas Mikhailov will seem quite bearable! Among the most popular songs by Edouard Charlotte are "Cheek on Cheek", "Sleep with You" and "I Want You to Bed". Charlotte also made a cover of the old song "Eighth Grader" by the "Kino" group. This song was initially, frankly, not too intellectual, in his performance it took on a shade of some kind of shameful shame, from which Viktor Tsoi probably turned over in his grave ten times.
Well, this singer also poses with his mouth in the shower with topless girls, and is also photographed with false nails and in semi-feminine dresses. On television, he is mincing in every possible way, making eyes. In short, she behaves like a cheap slut. Everyone who hears and sees it for the first time has one and the same question: is it he or she? And many agree on the neuter "it". Some call it "Coin for Girls", others - a parody of Yura Shatunov from "Tender May". Someone speaks out quite wittily: "He wanted to become a homosexual, then changed his mind, but it was too late."
However, while some make fun of Edik, others, accidentally seeing him, are indignant, and still others are very competently and dynamically promoting him. As the classic used to say: "After all, if the stars are lit, then somebody needs it?"

You never know, they say, what kind of city they sell in this market and for what services and acquaintances they promote in the mass media? Yes, there is. But let us doubt the accidental "market" creation of such figures. Only an extremely naive, ignorant person can think that mass performances - be it cinema, theater or stage - work on the needs of the audience. On the contrary, these requests are actively formed for certain attitudes, designed to direct the consciousness and subconsciousness of viewers and listeners in the right direction.
Hollywood, that, say, has long and almost openly merged with the CIA, influencing moviegoers on all continents. But there are also more hidden groups of "moderators" who promote the "necessary" global trends and figures in national film production, the repertoire politics of theaters, television shows, and pop music.
What are these trends? The most important is the destruction of the national codes of peoples (Russian in particular), the introduction of alien codes into the collective unconscious, or, which is more often observed today, “pure” total destruction. The breakdown of centuries-old moral foundations - family, community. Propagation of hedonism, debauchery, permissiveness, contempt for "backward ancestors", for the accepted norms of community, behavior, speech, clothing. And in general terms, all this is called art war: thoughtful, purposeful actions to "erase" the traditional cultures of the peoples of the Earth with the help of pop culture, bringing the consciousness of young people to Tabula rasa - a clean board on which you can draw the letters of the New World Order without hindrance.
Russia is not the only, but, as we have already said, the main goal. Why is hardly worth explaining. But it should be admitted: since the late 1980s, with each new generation, the task of the "erasers" has been made easier: by the fall in the level of education, the primitivization of the media, the growing intellectual helplessness of the ruling class. In short, there is a successful moronization of society with its fragmentation - that is, the division into segments of social groups and subcultures that are almost closed from each other.
Agree, even in the middle of the "dashing nineties" with an abundance of ugly phenomena in mass culture, it was impossible to imagine a triumphant phenomenon of how disgusting and vulgar, so frankly idiotic character as Charlotte.
The fall, alas, is evident. And what about this: not to notice, contemptuously turn away from the "lower forms of life"? So these forms may one day become dominant. Deny, close? With the current socio-economic and political paradigm, open to all winds, the Internet is in no way possible. What then?
To begin with, learn to call phenomena by their proper names. To understand, to understand the editorial policy of at least those mass media on which the state has influence, to put up barriers to aggressive vulgarity. And the state itself, finally, has to decide on its own norms, ideals and points of support.
