An unusual fish with a deformed swollen head fell on the fishing rod of a fisherman in the Chinese province of Guizhou. The man went fishing with friends and among ordinary carps he suddenly came across a very strange specimen.
The Chinese immediately called the creature "bird-fish", although some saw a similarity with a dolphin.
Several photos of the strange fish and a short video got on social networks, but when local journalists wanted to interview the fishermen, they could not find them. Therefore, it remains unknown in which body of water this fish was caught and it is also not available for taking samples from it for analysis.
It is also not known what kind of fish exactly the species is, although it is probably a carp family.
Meanwhile, rumors spread in China that this is a mutant fish and that it mutated due to severe pollution of the rivers and lakes of Guizhou. Some suggest that some biological waste from GMOs got into the water and it is because of them that the fish mutated.
One of the experts of the Guizhou fish farm said that the fish was most likely injured while still in the egg and that this was a developmental anomaly, not a genetic mutation.

Where the fishermen took the fish is not reported in social networks. Someone assumes that they ate it, others are sure that there is no such thing in any case, otherwise "they will have mutant children."
