Not everyone knows that most of the sarcophagi found in Egypt turned out to be completely empty. In most cases, such sarcophagi are made of granite, and their processing exceeds the capabilities of the Egyptians attributed to them in dynasties.
These sarcophagi are definitely not looted, because they do not even find the remnants of garbage in them, which no one would clean up when they were plundered.
Even 1200 years ago, the servants of the Arab Caliph complained about the desolation of the Cheops pyramid when they plundered it. According to them, they opened the pyramid first, but there was nothing in it, and the sarcophagus was empty.
Thus, questions arise about the true creators of some sarcophagi and their original purpose. The photos above and below show the same sarcophagus from the Cheops pyramid.
If we take into account alternative versions of history, then we can get a more or less logical explanation of their existence.
Imagine what if the sarcophagi were not used for burials, but for storing any substances or objects.
In fact, these are large granite boxes that were supposed to enclose the contents. Moreover, there are quite large specimens, whose weight reaches hundreds of tons. Just imagine, a sarcophagus weighing one hundred tons.

The time, effort and resources required to create them do not fit any logical explanation. Moreover, when official historians claim that bulls are buried in them! Why then do not the bulls build another pyramid of Cheops, why should we spare resources?
I believe that the Egyptians in antiquity discovered some granite boxes and used them as sarcophagi. For what they were smart enough, as they say, so they used them.
Well, or they knew that the boxes belonged to the ancient gods and came up with some kind of fairy tales, which could lead to the use of boxes as sarcophagi.
The desolation of the sarcophagi can be explained by the fact that the "gods" cleansed them before they left. I understand perfectly well that my version is far from perfect, but at least there is a logical beginning in it.
In my opinion, this version is better than with bulls.
