In Minato-ku, one of the districts of Tokyo, Japan, on October 30, 2016 at 5:30 am, local residents watched the appearance of an unusual bright object, glowing in bright green (see video below).

A very bright ball-shaped object moved across the sky in a northeast direction for about 15 seconds, then burst into a bright flash and went out. At the same time, during the outbreak, a chain of bright fragments scattered after him across the sky.

This information appeared in local news, where the object was called a "fireball". Representatives of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan suggest that it burned the wreckage of some satellite, which burned up, entering the Earth's atmosphere.

Interestingly, a very similar object of the same bright green color flew over Siberia on October 26, 2016, and, having landed near Lake Baikal, lit up the sky with a bright flash.

It was classified as a meteorite that hit the Earth at the moment it crossed its orbit with the meteor shower of Halley's comet - Orionids.
