What happens to people with clinical death, in various cases, has a lot in common, so as not to talk about it. But as usual, medicine and the scientific world explain this in their own way, esotericists, as one would expect, have their own point of view, and people who have experienced clinical death continue to talk about amazing and ambiguous experiences, which makes us think about the most important issues of life: “Who are we?”,“What awaits after death? "And" What is the meaning of life?"
From a medical point of view, clinical death is the last reversible stage of dying. The reversible stage means that at this stage it is still possible to return a dying person to life using special technologies for resuming the work of functions that support life in the body, and this, first of all, respiration and blood circulation. With the extinction of these functions, the biological death of the body occurs, and as a result, resuscitation is no longer possible. Such a term as "clinical death" appeared quite recently, approximately in the 60s of the last century and its appearance is associated with the rapid development of resuscitation technologies.
The duration of clinical death is on average from 3 to 5 minutes, however, in different conditions and circumstances, this time interval can stretch up to several tens of minutes. A person (consciousness, soul) during this time, as a rule, moves through the tunnel seeing a bright light ahead, can have time to communicate with God or other creatures, deceased relatives, and sometimes survive a long life in another world, including going to hell. Now there are a lot of interesting stories about clinical death, and there are more and more of them.
Clinical death completely changes a person's life
There are scientists who argue that all these visions and experiences do not occur during clinical death, but immediately before or immediately after it, when the brain is functioning. They believe that consciousness is inseparable from the human body, therefore, when the brain is not supplied with the necessary substances, there can be no perceptions. This is a typical atheistic point of view that denies the existence of the soul, that is, consciousness that exists independently of the body. Since scientists cannot scientifically prove the existence of the soul (there are no suitable instruments), they tend to deny its existence. That is, from their point of view, "after death there is nothing - we live once."
Esotericists have a much more optimistic view of clinical death. The soul is separated from the body, and this is normal, because it is not part of it. That is, consciousness is primary, and the physical body is secondary. The soul can be aware (perceive, experience) regardless of whether the brain is functioning or not. Scientists often believe that the brain and the mind are one and the same, but esotericism says that they are also different things. The brain is a kind of biological mechanical switch through which the mind controls the body. The mind, like the soul, can exist and function independently of the brain.
