In the Irkutsk region, detectives managed to identify and detain the alleged culprit of a crime that is difficult to solve - the car arson.

As reported today, on May 22, in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Irkutsk region, a resident of the village of Granovshchina turned to the police, who said that a Daewoo-Nexia car had burned down in the yard of his house under unexplained circumstances.

It is noted that the police immediately ruled out the version of a technical malfunction of a foreign car and suggested a criminal background to the incident. This was soon confirmed thanks to the study of the recording from the CCTV camera, where it was clearly visible how an unknown person commits arson.

In the course of studying the contacts and connections of the victim, the police drew attention to possible conflicts. As a result, a resident of the village of Mishelevka, who could set fire to a car out of revenge, was under suspicion.

It is noted that earlier the suspect turned to the victim for services in the field of esotericism, trying to find a missing relative. Having paid five thousand rubles, he heard from the psychic that the wanted person was no longer alive. At the same time, other people, prone to clairvoyance, then convinced the man that the relative was alive and well.

It is reported that a criminal case has been opened under the article on the willful destruction of property by arson. It provides for a maximum sentence of imprisonment for up to five years.
