The history of Yermak's campaign is one of the most confusing events in history. Little is known about Yermak himself, his surname and his biography are not known. Historians don't even know where he was born. They argue about it. That is, they do not know for sure who he is. And his campaigns are very contradictory.
Why he went to Siberia is not clear. Historians have 3 versions. Either he went on the initiative of Ivan the Terrible, but this version can be deleted immediately, because he, on the contrary, was against it. There is a version that the Stroganovs sent him, which also does not stand up to criticism, because they themselves were seriously affected by his presence on their lands. And the third theory that he went because he wanted to is also not foldable, because why was there to go there, there were places closer and more accessible that could be robbed.
But Yermak is not looking for easy ways, he goes to the deserted lands in the East to Kuchum, choosing a very difficult route. As for its route, it is believed that it is generally impassable. The fact that the path drawn by the official history is impossible to go is said by many who have rafted down Chusovaya.

Ermak appears in the information space only at the end of the 18th century. This is two hundred years later than the events that took place. What could they have known in two hundred years. Historians explain the appearance of the first mentions so late by the fire in Tobolsk.
